Perhaps the aerodynamically best early plane design! A forerunner to Horten and other nurflygel wings, I assume.

You do realize the Dunne was a 1916 design while the Horten's began work in the late 1939's ?

Magnifique vol !!! comme une vraie maquette ... mais je note quand-même quelque chose : décollage dans un sens et atterrissage dans l'autre sens ... l'un des deux était forcément en vent arrière ... pourquoi ce risque ? surtout pour un modèle relativement fragile.

It is hard to believe these flying combination tents and kites were actually flown by people. It looks like one small gust and the spindly struts would collapse. One slightly hard landing and the aircraft would be nothing but dirty laundry and broken chopsticks.
