Grime clashes are a bit different from rap battles it’s more about showing your skills as a grime MC rather than always taking shots at your opponent directly although that helps,and Chip is one of if not the best at clashing,you should check out Chips tracks taking shots at Stormzy if you haven’t already heard them.
I've advocated for big narstie fire in the booth 3, and I will add to the list of arguments that he aims a great diss at chip for going pop in the second verse. Big narstie was also the guy in the background in the video for "Relegation riddim". So that reaction will fit perfectly in this context 🔥
One line flows are very common in the UK grime scene switching each starting bar but ending on the same word each time which can be used also to create double entendres by playing on the double meaning of the word you are repeating. you brought up again in this video that you didn't like the hook bugsy used in the previous reaction to relegation riddim. to put that into context it was a play on chips hook in school of grime. maybe check that out too. i figured you might understand the purpose of the hook after knowing that and then see its place in relation to the whole diss track
That part at 4:12...He's quoting someone called Devilman (who had a grime clash with Skepta, not an amazing rapper but a pioneer for the scene). Devilman is from Birmingham where Lady Leshur is from. In Pepper Riddim, Chip says 'I grew up on Skeppy (Skepta) not Devilman but wait there where's Devilman?' Basically saying look what happened to his career after a clash and see who's still a household name.

Casey , at the end , you mentioned Chip coming in “indirectly “ like a rap beef… but am I the ONLY one who sees the subtle “shadows” on the back wall behind the tv screen look like shadow figures of dild.os and “fuukk” beads as if using the walls shadows as props to say fuukk you for the sake of the rap beef?
So something being missed is Chip was going up against someone with a different accent and hes amazing at taking others sounds, bars and inflections and using this to mock them - there are many times in this beef Chip intentionally does this so to an outside ear it could be comfused that they 'sound the same'. We love Lady Leshur too though! 😊🇬🇧

@@brownsey1 what scene the pop scene or the grime scene ? because in the late 2000's grime wasn't because nobody could make money because the radio's was forced not to play their music and the police was shutting down grime shows all up and down the country. thats why we had Roll deep making dumb shit like green light

different areas in uk dont have slightly different accents every 15 mins the accent changes roughly and the dialects are massively different. someone from newcastle isnt understanding glaswegian and glasgow isnt understanding dumfires when we speak
