Toelichting:
Christos Papandreopoulos en Andreas Mader werden gevormd door Pierre-Laurent Aimard in Keulen en Arno Bornkamp in Amsterdam, twee grootheden uit de piano- en de saxofoonwereld. Ze traden op bij diverse festivals in Europa, in Nederland onder meer bij Wonderfeel en het Oranjewoud Festival. Die omzwervingen brachten hen op het idee om een programma te maken over fysieke en imaginaire emigratie: vluchten, heimwee, zwerven en thuiskomen. De leuke variant: een Amerikaan in Parijs met heimwee naar zijn home sweet home.
