Hello sir, In my opinion, there are a lot of mistakes that we probably do during the exam, but we don't notice at all. It could be because of the anxiety of give a good score. Moreover, I strongly recommend you that TST prep has a sample test platform with all the questions and answers in order to prepare ourselves better and succeed in this tough and stressful exam. Hey Josh why the MIT has set the criteria of toefl as 100+ on the other hand 135+ for the Duolingo English Test which is equivalent to 110+ in toefl? Please check it out. My brain has stopped working.
that's the magic of duolingo and why duolingo will soon prevail and replace toefl. my duolingo is 135, ielts 7.5, haven't taken toefl yet, but I know for certain that my toefl would be nowhere near 110. if anyone can easily pass duolingo for a much lower price and less effort, what is the point of taking toefl? duolingo is the future!
Hello sir, I have given Duolingo test but received uncertified result. As they are saying I have used any written out samples during speaking. But, believe me sir, I have not used any unfair means and focused on the screen only. So, please tell me the right way of speaking to get certified result.

If they said, " have used any written out samples during speaking" make sure you make eye contact with the camera while speaking and speak in a comfortable and natural manner. Be sure not to use any memorized response, but instead focus on answering the question naturally. I hope that helps and good luck.

During the test, it was evident you had a phone, an external device, a second monitor, and/or written/printed materials present, which is not permitted. Since this is a violation of our terms of service, you are not permitted to test again on any account. This say this test sir But sir I’m not use anything equipment use in exam time and no other moniter bt Sir 1 phone & laptop in my room so plzz help sir and reply plz soon

Hello, Sir; I have taken the test for 2 times. At my first attempt they emailed me that you have been reading a response that had been prepared already, and on my second attempt they said you looked away even though I didn’t look away for a second and I gave all response in speaking from my mind not from a paper and that is not possible as well to cheat in front of camera. I am really disappointed now Where should I look ? To the camera or to the screen ?
@@preetkaur2867 There is nothing like passing or failing in this test.. All you have to do is check the score requirement of the university which you want to get admission at and just aim at the score.. Take a lot of practice tests offered by duolingo official website... Additionally, try doing some practice tests from youtube too. By the way, I have taken my test recently and was not certified however I am taking it today evening. Wish me luck

I took the practice test on duolingo maybe 20 times. I still cant understand; At the end of it I get 115-125 all the time and Im really wondering if the points for the part that we are talking about a topic for 90 seconds or the part we are telling what we see in the image include to 115-125??? Like how the computer can score these parts ? Or that score includes just the writing and chosing sections ? Please make it clear to me I will take the test in two weeks so Im getting the practice test everyday minimum 3 times and watching your videos here and I must get at least 105 from the real test.

I was disqualified because I had paper and pen on my table. During the test I did not look at that paper which is recorded. Was I tested for algebra or English language? Why Duolingo does not have live proctors who would remind me what objects they do not want to see on my table or around me? This approach is unfair and because refund it not possible, I consider this service as FRAUD.
Hi sorry about the issue, I am one of the test taker, it is not fraud, the thing is if you read the test information before taking the test, these things are mentioned to not put anything near you. I dot know u are disqualified for ever or just one test, wish u all the best
The test rules mention that you can't have pen/pencil and paper on your desk. I don't know how they know you have those objects there, but anyway, you can't.

I would focus on the production score part since you are in control of your reading and writing responses, whereas the literacy questions depend on the vocabulary you already know. Hello duolingo team I have taken my English test on 10th October 2021 but I have been stated in my results that I have taken assistance while giving my test which is why I have been ban permanently but I haven't taken any assistance while giving my test after that I have appealed also but they haven't unblock my account kindly please reconsider my appeal check my results and give me one more chance to take my English test.
