The Duotone Slick has the most compact overall form of any of the wings in the Duotone X wing range, yet it is also arguably the most rigid and stable thanks to its mini boom system. Better yet, this does not come at the expense of added weight due to the boom being, well, ‘mini’ - it is also available in a lightweight carbon construction for those where weight really does matter.

Biggest challenge is patiently waiting for more stock! 😉 Nice overview. I think the windows could be smaller for me, but they are a necessity for winging on Soton Water! My first boom wing and love it! Has added a real level of consistency in my tacks and being able to power it up by quickly sliding your hands back coming out of a transition is great.

Love my new Slick, huge improvement compare to the echo . But quite disappointed that the alu boom sucks water! Quite amazed that they did not feel it with foam or seals it better ! Weight is always an issue so can’t understand that they made such a easy and cheap mistake! By the why still waiting for the carbon version .... hopefully without the same issue!

Thanks for watching. The Slick has just raised the game of everything on the market. Drop your retailer a line re the Silver Series boom as they should be able to help you. The Carbon Version of the boom is a game changer and something we would absolutely recommend.

I totally agree. I love the wing but am disappointed and suprised like you that the boom takes on water so easily. And to make it worse it seems quite hard to get it all to drain out. Like you, I really wonder why they didn't seal it better.
