I have oily skin sometimes combo, and I have been using the tatcha primer since mid last year. I bought the E.l.f primer a cpl weeks ago and I really really do love it! I think it's just as good as the tatcha. Especially for the price. 💙💙💙💙
@@neeneebrat I use it with all of my foundations fur example, Maybelline superstay, Make Revolution conceal& define foundation, Jouer essential high coverage, Revlon colorstay, Catrice Hd foundation, Mac Studio fix, and Beauty Blender foundation. I honestly try to only put a little bit and sometimes if I put too much or if I have a lot of moisturizer underneath that like a can pill up a little bit that's why the less you use the better like mostly in the T-Zone. I really hope that helps you but I really have found the elf one to be the closest thing to Tatcha I really like it
Wow! I don’t even follow Laura Lee but went to her channel just to hear her shout out to you. Glad it was in the very beginning. You are so awesome I literally wait for your reviews before I purchase new products. It helps because you always give us a wear test not just a video of you applying new makeup. Much love Jasmine 😘
honestly the elf primer is one of my holy grails now it keeps my makeup looking so flawless and i usually get oily around my nose and it made a huge difference when i used it. definitely recommend it
@@lilselene861 I did that too! Flex pay helps take the sting out of paying so much for it. I try not to think about the total cost of the 6 pymts im making lol
Your skin IS perfect. I didn't even realize you didn't have on foundation in the beginning. I hope I can find this primer in the store. I've been wanting the Tatcha one but $52?! Jeez!
The Tatcha is actually a gram less product than the Elf!!! It just looks like more because the Tatcha is spread out!! 📣 save your dolla dolla bills ladies
kalcake I know right? Like when KathleenLights shouted her out I was so happy, but seeing all these comments saying that Laura Lee sent them here just left a bad taste in my mouth. Lmao hopefully they’ll realize Jas is much more talented and genuine
I use the elf one on my t-zone alone w/ makeup on top, and I get compliments on my skin all the time! I like the more hydrating finish because I want a poreless look, but a glowy one as well
The Tatcha primer for me is LIFE! I use it every time I do my makeup and like you I haven't found a foundation that it doesn't work with. I've tried about 12 different foundations with it.
Thanks so much for dimming your beauty lights and the "up close and personal" look at your skin and how the makeup looked after your wear test! It's so refreshing to see someone really give an HONEST review of how the products actually look after hours and hours of wear. I have watched a couple of other videos you have done on foundation and you actually switched out your cameras to give us the best visual of your skin in different lighting. You, have made a believer out of me and I am grateful for the time and effort you put into your videos, to give us the best possible reviews. I subscribed and rang the bell 🔔 I am definitely a fan and look forward to your next videos. I will definitely recommend your channel to others. It also doesn't hurt that you are absolutely GORGEOUS inside and out. 👑💖🔥⭐️
Loved the video, I finally checked out the description box and just wanted to let you know that you affiliate link for the mentha lip isnt working. I always wondered what you use for lip prep and I'd like to show my support by using your link. Just wanted to give you a heads up!
Hi Jas 👋🏼 I was hoping you’d do this video since you always use the tatcha primer and it’s a bit pricey so grateful you’re always looking out for those of us who need beauty on a budget. I wanted to ask if you can do a review on the new elf camo concealer I’ve only seen just a few others review it and I trust your opinion so if you can I’d really appreciate it 💖
Hi! Really appreciate having the lights lowered down and the close-ups, so we can see the the product on skin. Thank you! Tatcha Silk has certain ingredients I react badly to, and has fragrance. Super excited to try Elf Putty! x
Just bought the elf putty primer, L’Oréal foundation, revlon concealer, and the lip stuff you use all because of your video and recommendations! You’re my fav!
Hi jasmine Thank u for this video girl❤. I was going save up for Tatcha SlLk canvas primer now I dont have too. Now I can jus buy elf poreless potty primer. love u jasmine😘
When you applied the elf one it reminded me of the L’Oréal magic perfecting base primer. Have you ever tried it? Would you do a comparison please?! I really liked your video 👌🏽
The tatcha primer is a recent addition to my collection and I can't imagine my makeup life without it! I can vouch for it's skin saving properties. Cant wait to see how the elf primer performs!
I buy a lot of makeup, but never as expensive as that primer I literally bought it a week ago and today I used it for the first time with the fenty foundation that arrive at the same time and OMG its bomb ima get the elf one too just to see how it works with my skin 😍😍
im new to your channel and i just wanted to say i love ur personality so much! thank u bc now I'm going to be bingwatching your videos to learn more about makeup
Hello Jasss!!! I have been setting my under eyes the way you do and omggg it’s a game changer😍😍 Thank you for the tip. Also can’t wait to get my hands on this primer. I own the tatcha one but I find it very dry on me 😩 Love youuu💕💕💕
I screamed when Laura Lee shouted you out omg I've been watching your channel for 3 years now and you're finally getting the notice you deserve! you are so talented, I'm so happy for you omg
I just saw on ulta that the brand pacifica just came out with a new foundation and concealer, as well as setting powders. Would love to see what you think of this and a wear test!
OMG 😍 wat ????? Wow my jaw like dropped that loreal foundation is perfect for you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! U found the perfect match..it has a little yellow undertone in it like it probably used turmic in the ingredients... beautiful girl... yeassssssssssss 💟 ❣💌 flawless boo 💜💜💜💙💙💙💙💛💛💛💞💞
The eyelash on the left (her right) is much longer, and doesn’t go all the way to the edge of her eye, unlike the other lash it goes all the way out. Pause at 4:40
Girl Laura Lee shout u out in her video today. Yay!!! Congratulations girl!! I got 3 samples of the Tatcha and man I liked it. But to expensive. Imma have to try the elf. Also L’Oréal has a dupe for the bobby brown primer in that pretty bottle. I think it’s L’Oréal. Imma check after your video. Please try that one too
ruzica popovic IDK! I can’t find it now. I even went into the store today, and didn’t see it. Sorry I’m still looking trying to remember what youtuber I watched that used it on her channel. I’ll come back wen I find it. Sorry. It’s frustrating asf I’ve been looking I wanted to buy it today, I also didn’t see the elf one in store neither. Smh
I’ve been testing them both out and in my opinion I like the Tatcha much more. I feel the tatcha one blurs better & sinks in my dry skin better. After a week of using the Elf one I developed bumps on my face and I feel it sat on top of my skin. Everyone’s skin is different, apparently mine likes the expensive one 😩😩😩
Have you tried the ELF Poreless Face Primer? I just saw it today at Target, trying it this weekend. One of the best foundation primers I've used is Magix by Avon - I love that one. NYX also makes a great foundation primer - "Pore Filler", this balls up on occasion, but you just keep rubbing it in. These are both great - would love to see you do some comparisons with these two!
Omg your skin is so flawless jas your beautiful ..and holy cannoli I need the elf in my life I’m sure it will be out of stock 4 Ever since I know I was waiting on this video of yours to purchase xoxo
I’ve been using this primer for at least a month and I love it I bought 3 of them and then I noticed it kept saying sold out witch I was so happy I bought 3 I have very dry skin (because of medication) and this looks great I don’t have pore problems but I do have acne scares I think the primer covers them pretty good you can still see them but not as deep. I also wanted to ask you about the Dermablend loose powder a lady told me about that one when I was at Ulta what do you think of it? I really need your advise sorry for this long text 😊
Gorgeous! You should do a Marc Jacob's brush set + primer + foundation review! Please please please I know they r expenisve but I want to know if it's worth it and I totally trust you!
I have the tatcha one and I love it. I got it last November when I saw you using it and recommended it and ever since I always reach out to it everytime I do my makeup. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️ but I do have a question like everytime I use it when I try to blend it out into my skin some of the product gets together and make some flakes is that mean I used a lot of the product or just needs more blending or I am dry I am kind of confused ?
I’ve been looking for this but it’s always sold out on Ulta and out of stock at store because of the hype on RU-vid hopefully I can get my hands on it I have combo skin too love your reviews
i’ve been so busy with my baby and my husband i haven’t been able to relax and watch your videos 😩 but you’re looking flawless 😍 i been dying to try the tatcha primer but it’s out of my budget and been wanting to try elf but was waiting on a trustworthy review! thank you 😊
Your lashes are beautiful. Love them.. I finally was able to buy the elf poreless primer yesterday and after watching this video I’m super excited to try it.
How are you liking the wet n wild sponge???!!!! I have the tatcha I honestly LOVE it. I used it wrong (too much) the first time and didn't like press it in, but the next time I used it I FELL in love!
So it is not oily ? because when she applied it seemed very oily. I have oily skin too so normally I don't like products that make me seem or feel more oily.
hey jas! 💓 i finally gave in & bought the tatcha primer and have been using it for maybe a month now. sometimes i find that it starts to almost peel off my skin... like doesn’t exactly sink all the way into my skin and leaves a film which affects my foundation application. does this happen to you (or anyone else) ??
