Brilliant love Duran Duran they certainly did take music to a different level all the rest where doing catch up. Still going 40+ years later in 2020 gorgeous and very funny Simon.They achieved their goal world domination in five years and so much more along the way. They deserve there success with their wonderful unique talent thankyou.
This was great fun to watch! Thanks for uploading this! I've been a fan since the early eighties. It's good to see Simon and John still seem to really enjoy what they're doing. And it's true, they did change the look and sound of pop music!

These guys must get so sick of these " retro 80's " shows and revival bullshit. They have consistently put out records since that time but all the fair weather fans only seem to like or remember the 80's . Granted they put out fantastic records then however , they have had incredible releases since then. Paper Gods is best yet !
+Andy Pandy The 80's were very good to them, put them on a global map. They owned the 80's, in matter of fact, music/videos in the 80's was leaps and bounds better than 90% of the pop music in the last 20 years.

john used to look like the youngest in the group. he looked like 16 when he was 21 and looked like 20's in his 30's while simon looked alot older than the rest of the group. how come john all of a sudden become so old? there must be something that make him aging rapidly
Yeah, if you're skinny, your skin is less plumped up and gets wrinkly. I think he looks great though. Everyone ages differently and chubby people have their own problems.

@@Juki.227 i know, john has been through a lot of horrific ordeal too much for a man to endure, it would make most people unable to survive. he suffered the most from the pressures of 24 attention, and was exploited a lot by the media much more than the rest of the band. the record company deliberately made him the band icon and pushed him to do a lot of interviews and promotions, as a result, john suffered from constant attention by the fans and exploitation by the media for 24 hours. he barely got a sleep. john was the bomb in the 80s. his face was a staple of magazines. he's being mobbed by the fans everywhere he went and had the female fans camped outside his house/hotel screaming his name everyday. imagine he had to live through that everyday for years. was anything ever done? did they ever sit down and talk about it? did they ever consider whether John needed help to cope with the tremendous pressure of constantly being pursued? the answer is no. john kept all his suffering inside and never talked about it to anyone just so the band could keep going. john sacrificed everything including his privacy and his personal life for the band. the band is like his child. he's the one who built duran from scratch and determined to make duran big on a global scale. he's the mastermind and the driving force of duran who's racking his brains making plans for duran, directing and organizing the band. john's the man of focus, commitment and sheer will. everyone who is close to John says When John is up to something he will give 120% and won't stop until he achieves his goal, he will turn his visions and ideas into realization. his passion, determination, visions, and ideas are the force that drives duran. unlike the others in duran, john's life was about the band. he fought so hard holding up his band while the others in the band chose to leave the band and have a family, john's pouring all his energy and devoted his entire life to getting duran on top that's why he was so stressed out when duran popularity began to ebb and their record sales went dwindling. that's what made him turn to drugs for self medication and to help him cope with the pressure and workload. the record company would often expect John to get up early in the morning after a heavy night to do some promotional work.
but even so, john is still the most beautiful man in the world. most people will look like mummy or have stroke and other serious illnesses when they are stressed out and living a hard life like john has. The fact that john is still alive, rocking and healthy than most people of his ages after everything he's been through might prove that he is divine. it's just that he looks much older than he used to be. i was just surprised how John, who once looked so young and so gorgeous, suddenly became old. simon also looks very old, his face is swollen and droopy and has very deep nasobial fold and getting fatter than ever, but i'm not surprised to see simon become old because he's always look the oldest in the group. it might be difficult for us to accept someone as divine as john taylor ageing as the rest of us, even so john remains far more attractive than most people on the planet and remains an inspiration to all of us.

True, but A View to A Kill, the song was and still is the only no 1 James Bond track in the US charts. That says a lot about the quality and effort the boys put in to produce such a mega hit. To be frank, the song was bigger than the Bond movie it was based on!
