As a Duran fan since the early 80's, this Classic Albums DVD is absolutely the most fascinating, funny and amazing documentary. Its just representative of the band's uniqueness and special quality. I love this Wolf sequence, the MAKING OF VIDEO FOOTAGE is marvelous, Im sure there's more, I'd love to see more of that footage for all their videos. Also, Roger Taylor certainly came out of shell, the guy was just the most quiet Duran member throughout the 80's, eventually "retiring"! Too cool!
This incredible. How did this fly over my head! Man, Im out of it. I must buy this TODAY. I absolutely love to hear the artists in these series breakdown their music in the studio and discuss the process. The acoustic drums Roger plays, raw, really sound Rock and solid. So even though its a flashy 80's overall mix, at the core its a great Rock song! Mix up only Rogers playing, with a hint of that ambiance, not too much and just bass and guitar and LeBon, man, thats a Rock song!
Great to watch. I would've like to have seen Andy included. I'm sure he would've participated from his studio in Ibiza. This album is classic original fab five and he should've been included in the making of this documentary.
Is there any way someone could break down this song into its different parts (vocal, drums, synth, guitar, bass) and upload each track separately to RU-vid? I would be forever grateful!
Totally agree. The 2001 remaster though sounds cleaner, but doesn't sound as well mastered as the first album. I would love to see a new remaster done correctly.
I always thought nick was a genius on the keyboards esp during this song for creating the arpeggio, that is until i found it it was a preset in the stored sounds of the Jupiter 8.. . so actually the engineers at Roland should be created with the creation of that arpeggio.
