Here I was sitting, enjoying my day at home. I was in utube looking for something new to hear. I'm 65 years old, Hispanic blood. Man, I thought I was back in my cruising days.
I can't believe this event took place practically down the street from me and I had no idea. I'm pissed. That's okay, though. I caught them at Wicker Park Fest '19.
I liked the way Jones mentioned the show times and ending with “ and hey , I hope to see some familiar faces out there”. As a new listener and fan , if I saw them at my school doing a jam like this and maybe even at random while on campus. I’d be hunting down tickets for both the shows he mentioned . This group is so Mf’n dope!
Even on my crappy computer speakers this sounds amazing. I can't imagine how great it would have been to actually be present for this performance. Such a great band. One that I hold up every time someone complains that there is no good new music. You just have to look a bit deeper to find the good stuff.
So Love Durand Jones & The Indications especially Love the Singer/Drummer Aaron Frazer, all their music has the oldies vibe. Can't wait for them to come to Tucson, Az.
It’s usually people who think they know everything, aren’t open to new opinions, and have no credentials or music of any merit they’ve created themselves hahaha so much projection going on on RU-vid
yes these men are so so good wonder !!!!!!! is my jam I played man I love I am 67 years old proud to be my age so dont wonder old school is bomb when u all get ther u will smile and thank god
What a tight knit band , vocals from both , musicians double +.. like them too boot the tempo up a bit... See what can really do .. love them any way ......
Smokey Robinson, Stylistics, Jackie Robinson, Blue Magic, The Dramatics...these guys have what they had, the "it factor". It's falsetto au natural. It's smooth and chill. It's cool vibes, enough to resurrect Marvin Gaye, Sam Cook and Donny Hathaway. Who agrees? Who disagrees?
