I watched this old technique demonstrated by Dennis Sheehan and was knocked over by it, so I thought I would do my own landscape with two colours. Lovely to do a traditional oil painting. I hope you like it and leave comments.
For someone who has been influenced to paint a scene along the lines of the artist D. Sheenan, who demonstrates similar techniques to those used by the old masters. When you started off Dave it looked messy but watching you working and reworking the scene you created, it was a pleasure to see a beautiful meadow scene emerge out of the mist of green. Wonderful done.😊👍💯🍺
I know I am watching this video years after this painting was done, but I just had to add my comment. This picture is amazing, beautiful and I love it. I am new to painting but I would love to try painting in this style. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. Your are gifted and I am so glad I found this video.
Amazing!!!!! I have watched this video several times and can’t believe how easy you make this look. Thank you so much for sharing. I hope you share more soon.
To me this emanates light and captures the magic of twilight. With a great atmosphere, up there with the works of George Iness. And in under 50 minutes. Awesome!
Painter Dave Usher, your style encourages one to paint or inspires another to continue painting and seriously starts one's own version of a masterpiece..Thank you very much.
Well done Dave! No disaster then :-) I hope that you will do more of those, it was nice to see it develop, and your confidence growing along the way. I enjoyed watching!
