I've actually really liked this song since it's release. I think the build up is great, has great momentum and energy throughout the song. Vocals are great. So good.
It is promising, the arrangement is sweet, I just cant get over the fact that something about the sonic presentation of this comes to me not entirely pleasing. Something about the bassline, maybe the phase. It just doesnt glue up well enough with the rest of the composition. And if it wasnt for that, it would be a proper piece for the collection.. hmm?
I think I get your point. My thought of this remix upon hearing it the first time was, "this is not one of Yotto's best". I mean it's good but nothing that blows my mind like most of his productions.
