Dust off the wings stopped me in my tracks all those years ago and stayed with me. I was talking about the moths and dust sentiment to my partner recently... a really lovely moment in the film.
My friends and I really wanted to see Dust Off the Wings after watching and reading the reviews and interviews with Lee and the crew, but couldn't find a single theatre where it was screening. A few months later, we were scouring video libraries for the VHS, but to no avail. To this day, I still haven't been able to see it.
Me and my friends would hire this from the video shop all the time, it’s an Aussie classic so many good lines that I still repeat on a regular basis. I have scoured everywhere to try and find a copy of it to rewatch. It would love to see it again.
