French and behind Saint Denis here, but Dustin commands a lot of respect. If Dustin wins, I will be a bit sad for Benoit but it will validate the "diamonds are form under pressure" sentence, it will be a beautiful win for Dustin, proving he still have it. Also Benoit can bounce back from a loss easily, for Poirier it would mean the beginning of the end. May the best win, bless the two of them.

i like saint denis but hes so crazy, he honestly needs a loss for his growth. He's currently a wild man and fights scary for himself. Give him a loss and i bet he becomes a calculated killer. Lets go dustin.

@@spectre8469 I agree. Just like Kevin Holland, we saw him get humbled and then he matured and came back as a more serious fighter. A loss for bsd may be what it takes to rocket him up. I don't think he ever touches gold at 155 though, if we are being honest.

I appreciate that a lot of fighters, including Dustin, only break out the trash talk or the anger when it really feels earned and necessary. In the build up the third fight with Conor, McGregor was talking a lot of smack, so Dustin gave it right back to him. After the Chandler fight, Dustin rightfully voiced his disdain for Mike cause he was fish hooking, grabbing inside the gloves, and blowing bloody snot all over him.

It's crazy to me not a single journalist even thought asking about the "french connection" between these two fighters, Poirier being from the most french part of USA, being closed to the cajun community and having a "Fleur de Lys" tatoo on his hand, one of the most iconic french symbol, it sucks nobody cares about this whole background between these two

@@YOUENNNNthats a New Orleans/Louisiana tattoo .. it has its background in French culture but it was adopted by that state because of the French background of Louisiana but he definitely didn’t get it because it’s a French symbol he got it for the area he grew up in .. look at the football team the New Orleans saints that’s their logo
