Dusty is an extremely fun horse to ride if you like a horse that wants to cover some country. He is an 11 yr old Saddlebred Gelding that stands right at 15 hands. I would recommend a confident rider for him, because he has a big motor. I believe he is totally safe and have had beginner riders on him that loved riding him. They just have to have enough confidence to slow him down if needed. He loves to really step out and cover some country and gaiting is what he does best. I have had him in some really tough terrain and he handles it like a champ. I have also taken him on a 30 mile pack trip that did not even begin to tap his reserves. I use him both as a saddle horse and pack horse. He is very mellow on the ground and has good manners. He is very easy to shoe, and trailer. Dusty is just a good solid all around gelding.
