This is a masterpiece, i wonder where is the woman voice music came from, because I used to heard that voice in a reggae music when im going to school on public transportation
I think that Rusko did a great remix on the original. I usually dont like Rusko's tunes, they too filthy. But this is al well done dubplate on Skream's original. I like the small dub effects he put in, he made the bassline cleaner, and more contstant, and this tune came out nicely. The synth in the melody is perfectly done, and the melody shifted, and is still beautiful done.. I like this track.
Though I think the Dub feel was important in early Dubstep. There is no Dub feel whatsoever in brostep for instance. Therefore I think of Dubstep as it was in it early stages, where the "dub feel" was important, therefore implying I don't honestly see "brostep", "chillstep" etc.. as Dubstep, but sub-genres.
It's called chill. Not everything needs to be fast and energetic. Life moves fast. Any time spent relaxing and slowing shit down is a good thing. I wouldn't expect you to have the mental capacity to understand that, though. You're probably one of those "OMG 420 SMOK WEED ERRRR DAY IM SO COOL BRO I LOVE PARTYING #YOLO LOLL0L" kids.
I remember when this video didn't have a stream of comments by people who's musical opinions are more malformed than the music they try to glorify. love this track :)
people who like this: listen to the original version. it's bassy. then hit up the rest of Skreams' stuff! consider it a gateway into the awesome world of chill dubstep
OMGGGGGGGGG Absolutely love this! I love both versions. So chilled! I'm not the biggest dubstep fan but its a shame all I'm hearing from most dubstep songs nowadays is RAWR RAWR RAWR, like some transformers on some domestic violence trip.
@zerbamandnb know what you mean i'm 17 so similar problem but you cant get the older stuff like early dubstep or garage in good quality unless its 'on wax' so go for a mixture of the two keep going with vinyl as much as u can as well as cddjs
Who the **peeep** cares what genre this is. One of the best developments in the musicindustry is that nowadays you don't necessarily have to label things in to one category. Genres mix, people mix, music is music. So stop being jerks and just ENJOY THE MUSIC. Peace x
@bouncygangsta Sukh Knight - Chicken Curry Rusko - Sound Guy Is My Target Radikal Guru - Strong Dub Marla - Alicia Rusko - Acton Dread Zomby - Spliff Dub (Sukh Knight Remix) RYXP - Stronghold [not dubstep but still chill] And this one ofc. :P
@bouncygangsta emalkay - angie got stoned rusko - acton dread skream - field of emotions kromestar - on & on kromestar - inside subscape - midnight caspa - london city phaeleh - in the twilight
Who wouldn't spoil their music to get more money? Hence he went to the states, the yanks dont understand pure UK Dubstep, he makes wank now. This tune is easily one of his best tho! This song on a summers day and myself with a joint in my hand is better than sex ... well. ;)
To be honest I think the only reason people are classing this as Dubstep is because its by a Dubstep producer. If it was made by The Disciples or Alpha Omega for example, then people would be calling it Dub, because at the end of the day, it IS a dub tune, and it has nothing to do with Dubstep, even in its earlier more "dubby" roots before LFO masturbation became the only way to make dubstep, which is why it sounds like bullshit these days, and it all sounds exactly the same, but I digress!
@Benjy3634 TOTALLY AGREE. filthy tunes should be given a new name, REAL dubstep is wot is all about.. no need to have a sick-ass filthy murderous drop on a track 2be proper dubstep at all.
