Dutch Heroes - Piet Hein Explained 

Found out he is a relative on my grandfather's side, who still had the same surname, aswell as my mom. He surely has a big bunch of descendants but still cool to know

Dutch hero my ass! This man was a hero to the entire human race! A white man who was also an abolishionist!

This man has a awesome history and is a hero who freed slaves and plundered ship's of evil men. This is the first time I've heard of this pirate and know his history. It would have been awesome if my clan lead by the 35th chieftain of the clan Ruari the Turbulent also known as the last of the Vikings to make an alliance with Peit Hein. They would have been successful together with all the ship's that they would have looted together, sadly Ruari the Turbulent if he was alive today would of been classed as a megalomaniac by psychiatrists which was said in the book that I've read called Skull and saltire which is about the history of Scottish pirate's from ancient times to modern day.

Also he took a Major part in the Naval sieges and invasions in Brasil

I first heard about Piet Hein in the fantastic 1943 movie The Silver Fleet. It made me wonder who was the real Piet Hein. Your video was a great history-in-a-nutshell. 👍🏼👍🏼
