The thing about javier is that even if he’ll question dutch, he’s just as quick to excuse Dutch’s actions As he did with the girl from blackwater, Excusing Dutch shooting her by saying that it was a tough situation
The difference between a criminal and an outlaw is that while criminals frequently are victims, outlaws never are. Indeed, the first step toward becoming a true outlaw is the refusal to be victimized. All people who live subject to other people's laws are victims.
I've encountered this dialogue before a few times in my playthroughs but this is the first time I'm actually seeing it properly and up close. I'm actually kind of shocked at how amazingly well acted these hidden dialogues are. I would've thought game studios would just add dialogue to animated models but it's obvious here that these hidden dialogue scenes in rdr2 are not just fully voiced but fully acted - and this is in spite of them being just scenes if you're even lucky enough to catch them in your playthrough. rock* really did put so much effort into this wonderful game 👏👏👏 Thanks for making me see that @PointZero
I honestly believe they gave javier such a small role in the game. In my opinion, they should of expanded his character way more I would totally be down for it. Also they could have done so much in chapter 5 with him when they were in guarma.
