Yes, the Dutch and British DPM surplus isn't going to last forever and there are some nice items of good quality made by both countries in the pattern. I have the Dutch poncho and liner but they won't get used till this summer. Ill miss DPM when it's gone, i scrimped and saved my paper round money many decades ago to buy a British DPM Basha, great pieces of kit i still use now.
@@techweartactical4047 Yes, I know it's Dutch. I've served with them while they wore it. To be honest, I don't know what they call it themselves but it is a copy of Brit DPM. Same as NZ, Tanzania, Canadian para smocks between 1974 and 2000... etc...
@@techweartactical4047 When one hears 'woodland' they automatically think the US cam pattern from the early 80s until mid 2000s. The colours are similar to DPM but the shapes are different. DPM was adopted by the UK in the late 60s so it predates US woodland by nearly 15 yrs. That said, the US had developed ERDL cam in the late 40s but didn't bother to start issuing it until the 60s in Vietnam. It has some similarities to woodland but is overall more greenish.
