This song captures the leadup to a battle so well, it’s really quite stirring. Always a nice background track to Legend’s FOTS battles.

I like when you can hear the more raw sounds in music like the breath blowing into the flute alongside the sound it produces.

This soundtrack is so good that I have to mute the music in vanilla Shogun 2 to play this instead. It just isn't a Total War game without Jeff van Dyck. Thanks for the uploads.

This battle music really emphasizes how important each battle is

total war music is so freaking epic

I felt that this piece of music is no doubt a master piece in its own right, but this music gave me the universe feel of a Officer(Veteran soldier) getting ready to go the frontline of a war, irrespective of their nationalities or the era they were called to duty, and farther more as tile of this music score is also titled "Duty Calls"

First i tried shogun 2 and played as hojo i had 15 prıvinces in turn 48 and shogun called all clans on me i ragequitted then i marched into fall of the samurai. Joined the imperial cause and got my revenge from that shogun bastard!
