This DV stuff is very frustrating. Actually, I've been applying since 2008 but yet to win. My cousin won the DV around that year so that's how come I got to know about it (DV) and started applying. Despite I've been unsuccessful over the years, I'm never giving up so far as I don't need to pay to apply. By God's grace, I'm very POSITIVE that I will be WINNING this year (DV 2023).

I need help please. I won the DV lottery 2022 with my spouse and now he doesn't want to participate that means he doesn't want to travel can I travel without him? And how will I go about it since I am the main applicant
@@ahmedfouad4402 from what i've researched and read on BrtiSimon's website, you're definitely not too late, in fact, starting today will be quite early. I've not done mine yet. A lot of it has to do with your case number. I suggest going to britsimonsays.com and watching all of his videos. This will give you a good base to understanding the process.

Well I have been selected after 4 years but even if I have been selected (DV2021) I still not get the appoitment interview so no GC. I have to process DV lottery again...

Hi Brit, after submitting DS260 do we wait till they ask for supporting documents or we send them via kcc email? And my second question if we fill two duplicate form of spouse but submit one do we need to call the KCC to remove the other non submitted one or it’s ok if we leave it? I was selected for al 2016 DV, but I failed to complete the credentials. Now that I have finished school and can try, I will have the opportunity to come back.

Heyy, i won from my first try as well and my case number is at the start of 7K 😃 so you have to do all your paperwork and then send them to the KCC as a PDF file. after that they will send an email to an IOM hospital in your country to do your medical exams. After you do the medical exams you’ll receive an email on when you’re gonna be interviewed.
Hello Simon After DS260 , you have to wait till you get an email from KCC or Directly you have to submit Birth certificate & police record & Passport Photocopy? thanks for reply

If you got selected only then you will get your case number. And case number will be right there in page. As soon as a person get selected should apply for Ds260. Faster you do more you'll will possibilities of getting green card, and interview session fast. Police report should make from the place you're residing right now. Because you'll will be asked for a current resident in paper. So it's okay to have a police report for current residing place. Hope this helps you!!

When I get (I hope) in the USA and the Green Card will be in my hands (I think it means the LPR status will be active) which documents I need have for trevaling abroad the USA (for example to finish studying in the previous country).
Hi Brit. I have a worry about ds-260 in work/ocupation section. At the time of filling the form i was unemployed but now in meantime i started to work in military but as a civil worker on maintenance, so i have two questions. Should i unlock the form and change the employment status or should i leave the form with first information as unemployed person? Is it a risk for possible visa denial on interview?

It's faith.... doesn't necessarily mean you have to win but we keep hoping for what we do not see until one makes it and reading this info it's very helpful
It's actually not good for winners if every family member will take a visa from the DV lottery program. Honestly quite a bit sad. This was my question for a while and now I get my answer. I hope more single people or small families win the lottery to make sure more people have this opportunity.

Hi Simon Im a physician in Argentina, and i wanna participate in the lottery this year. My idea is working in the us as an investigator and study to take the USMLE (us medical licensing examination) so i can start a medical residency there. I know there are some specifics questions to physicians in the ds260 form, Is there any restrictions getting the visa as a physician who havent take the usmle before winnig the dv lottery? Thanks

For the SSN application, they say "complete and sign this application LEGIBLY using ONLY black or blue ink on the attached or downloaded form using 8.5 x 11 paper." I am not sure, does it mean I have to write it by hand? Or typed is ok? with covid the offices are closed, I need to mail them the application. I will write "MANOU PARDO" on -name: to be shown on the card- even though my passport and my dependent id name is MANON PARDO and my green card says MANON MORGAN. I ve heard it might not work. But I will just try it anyway. and pray. Any thoughts? Few people told me it works to mail color photocopies with the application, instead of the original (that I will not do)

Fill.it now but the I-540 i think so if i do remember.. You will do and send your papers only the police record you can't send ..so you change the status
@@steveazm3898 Yes something like that but you don't fill ds260 ..the one you are filling is to make the change of status..but you will go through the same process like someone living outside..only the police record you can't send to KCC
