In this update, Matt Seddon shows off one of the latest features of the DVC extension for VS Code. You can now use the experiment table filter to quickly find commits by Git tags. For instance, if you had tagged a model version or just wanted to find all the tagged models, you could filter by equals or contains. This gives you more flexibility and searchability in your ML experimentation process.

These product updates are actually internal videos that the team shares to communicate progress to the rest of the team due to the asynchronous nature of our workflows. Matt is a serious and highly efficient software engineer. He insists on a one-take update video to keep things efficient and get back to work building greatness into our tools. He's also a tad camera-shy and was leery about the idea of sharing these videos with the world. Recently the team celebrated the feedback his teammate Julie Galvan got on one of her product update videos ("Positive energy is like a boomerang. What you send out comes back!") So the smile was his attempt to also share positive energy. The truth is Matt is full of positive energy and an amazing teammate and giver, always helping out his colleagues when they are stuck on something.
