I also find some rare horror books (Jaws, Pet Sematary), Neat CDs, Bowling Shoes, and literally see a chicken cross the road. Link to Patreon / fleamarketfalcon Instagram : / fleamarketfalcon
I actually just learned this as an adult, but “to get to the other side” is a double-meaning for like death. So the chicken either crosses the road successfully and gets to the other side of the street, or gets hit by a car and goes to the “other side.”
I think the chickens sensed their was a falcon nearby and called for backup. I DIED when you pulled out that shopping cart 🤣🤣🤣 Please bring that every time!
Nice delayed payoff on the shopping cart joke. Touche. That chicken crossing reminded me of the time my ex looked out the window of her house and said "well there's a cliche in action". I looked out and it was two rabbits going at it to beat the band.
We now need a Flea Market Falcon meets Retro Rest Stop collaboration. You both moved from PA to Orlando, you both love theme parks, you both are close in subs, you both love punk music. It's the best crossover.
Well he was in the background of one of my videos for a few seconds but didn't meet him.At the time I didn't think he knew who I was. I feel I would have to know someone first before making a video or else it might just be super awkward lol. We are both from the north east region but I'm actually from Rhode Island.
@FleaMarketFalcon oh I for some reason thought you were from PA my bad. I'm actually moving to Orlando at the end of June from Chicago. I also dig the same music and I resell full time at the moment. I also have similar interest as yourself I see lots of movies in the theaters and dig going to the theme parks. We should go see a movie I need a movie buddy lol.
Love the artwork on all of the old Stephen King hard cover novels. My old school library used to have heaps of those and I read almost every one they had, think the only one i ended up skipping was IT because it was just way too thick and it was daunting just to look at. Never believed i'd have been able to get through the whole book.
@@FleaMarketFalcon I believe i'll get around to reading It eventually. Going to be one of those marathon books that takes me a month to get through all of it
Least the one lady appreciated your cart joke. Most of the movies you picked up I haven’t seen and some never heard of but, hopefully you found some gems.
Old Book Club editions of Hardbacks are awesome despite their low resale value, mostly because that's the only logical way to own a lot of modern classics. I find them often when I'm looking for 70's and 80's SciFi/Fantasy. Nice payoff to the shopping cart bit, I appreciate that one lady who actually had some fun with it (I was kinda expecting the worst), and you got some great pickups out of it too.
Yup the shopping cart bit worked out well. I got to do my joke and find stuff to buy too. Yup the bookclub ones are much easier to find. I will probably never find a Carrie first edition but maybe some day will find the BC edition.
Loved hearing woman yelling, "Get the hell out of here, you old hag!" Ha!!! I always wondered why you had different intros. I didn't realize until today that one is Flea market and one thrift store. 👍👍👍
That drama at the end was great. Dragged Across Concrete I really enjoyed, Zahler is under-rated in my opinion. Hideous Kinky was Kate Winslets first movie after Titanic and I think she gets a little bit kinky in it, so do enjoy.
I think the DVDs (think that's what you found) and blus of the 28 Days/Weeks films have become valuable due to the old DVD and blu editions going out of print. Also the films I think I heard are absent on any streaming service, except that if you search for them on Disney+ they're on there, or were, but you have to search for them, you won't just find them regularly, and I think I heard that internationally they're not available to stream at all. I actually own them both on blu ray and bought them during the COVID era for next to nothing. With a new trilogy planned I expect we may see re-releases but with Disney involved you never know.
Got to meet Chuck Norris in 1988 @ a book store signing in Phila he was promoting his book & Missing In Action 3. He was very nice & Not too many people showed up @ least when i was there i was the 1st one in line 👍👍👍👍
@FleaMarketFalcon thanks unfortunately it's been Really Rough my Beautiful Wife of 22 yrs passed away in 2021 I've been struggling But your videos do help me i need a lot of help !!!!!!!!!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I'm at a loss for thrift stores here that don't scan them for online leaving all the common titles. I think Dollar Tree got out of the movie business. My friend found some MC 900ft Jesus cds, but were empty. The ridiculous bins kids were at it again leaping over people and putting carts in the way for vintage clothes. The chicken probably doodied on the road to cross/anger it.
I noticed that as well, the 28 days movies are slowly going on a print. I’m taking it because the prices keep rising up. It’s 20th century Fox so who knows maybe the people at Disney goes oh we can’t have these type of movies in our catalog. lol
I've been finding a lot of cd's and DVD's and blue rays lately. it's hard to pass on for 50 cent or a dollar. went to our public library and found brawl in cell block 99 steel book for 50 cents. oh, and how did the dead baby cross the road? stapled to the chicken.
what is up with goodwills pricing? ?? A few of them around me are crazy! The other day i found a nice WII game. No price. They took it out back to get priced. Came back saying they cannot sell it to me....
When you did the mini shopping cart bit, i thought she was gonna start yelling for you to get the hell out of there.. Campus Man is your basic silly 80's concept flick.. as a kid, i thought the Cactus Jack character was so cool, any character that had a switchblade was cool in my book back then.. Caddyshack II is another hardcore 80's silly humor flick and I was probably too young for some of the humor, but as a kid you had to love the gopher puppet scenes.. Now, The Way Way Back to me is a bit of a gem.. I enjoyed it a lot, found myself really pulling for and feeling for the kid.. a coming of age film with heart and filled with great characters.. seeing Steve Carrell as the moms smug boyfriend throwing verbal shots at the kid was just infuriating, especially when it was like know one else even noticed.. even at times you wanted to choke the mom for being so oblivious and selfish.. highly recommend to anybody
I had a similar problem on eBay .. I listed a tcl stylus 5g and eBay I had edit the listing because I can’t list accessories in the listing name of a cell phone so I had to write it like tclstylus5g 😂
Not sure how delayed your videos are, but hopefully you’ve checked out The Way Way Back now. It’s one of my favorite recent coming of age films. Sam Rockwell is wonderful in it.
I bought that one last week and watched it last night and liked it! I didn't know about it for a while but wanted to find it ever since I heard it takes place at Water Wizz water park, a place I use to go as a kid.
@@FleaMarketFalcon that’s awesome! I wish we had a cool water park like that where I grew up. I also wish my mom had a rear facing backseat in her station wagon
It's really funny you said that show with the Marionettes Scared you as a kid i felt the Same way about a 1953 tv special with Marionettes called Twas the night before Xmas. Check it out !!!!!!!!!!!😮😮😮😮
@FleaMarketFalcon That was back when things were kinda separated. Like the punk crowd, Hair Metal crowd, Death/Black Metal, Trash Metal. I remember hearing they hated each other. Now people are more open to different kinds of music.
