@@mattneff Bruh! I got a PERFECT idea for an FU DW spinoff. I call it "Buzz Off Biscuits". Basically its where you take shots at the Biskit twins from "Littlest Pet Shop 2012", who are basically a mixture of DW, Cousin Cora, and Matt from "Lizzie MqGuire".
@@melissacooper8724Except gymnastics. Another episode revealed that she was still taking the class. Also she didn’t quit at the end of the first gymnastics episode.
I've heard of people's kids getting upset about being at a birthday party that wasn't for them and wanting to open the birthday kid's gifts and blow out the candles before the birthday kid as well and the parents encouraged that behavior. That's definitely something DW would pull.
I think Binky deserves some credit. He seems to have a LOT more patience for D.W. than humanly possible. Or canine-inly possible. Of course, trying to do a foot twirl on the rug was just beyond stupid. Those writers. Always making characters dumb to further the plot.
@@christopherbingham5092 That's true. He was a bad teacher at first. But he was mature enough to realize that and change his ways. So then DW was able to become a much better student.
So DW can't read OR dance??? And she's lucky to be in preschool so she can't get a failing grade! She should still be punished by Mr. and Mrs. Read though!
DW literally brought Arthur's underpants to school with intentions of ensuring he gets non stop bullying, and she STILL isn't grounded. WHAT IS IT GOING TO FUCKING TAKE FOR THE READ PARENTS TO ACTUALLY DISOWN HER?!
The fact that Molly is laughing at Arthur's underwear in the background behind all of D.W.'s friends is hilarious 🤣 Binky gets his second FU in the series after the holiday special.
You should make a list of the top ten “worst” episodes where DW is a brat. Ranking based on both how bad the episode is, and how much DW is a brat in it, and how much her brattiness actually affects the plot.
Arthur’s parents feels like the opposite of Calliou’s parents. Arthur they punish Arthur for doing nothing and blame everything on him. On Calliou, his parents do nothing when he does something wrong.
Can you do the episode where DW's pet bird dies and she spends her time harassing a toad? Like I get she's grieving, but she's really rude to this toad and starts throwing a tantrum in the very end because she suddenly likes it. You could call it "DW Bullies a Toad" or something like that
To be honest, it's kind of messed up that DW has been so uneducated and spoiled that there was ever a time Arthur NEEDED to punch his own little sister, that's gonna stick in his head for a long time. Also, I wish we got more of Binky and DW actually bonding like they did in the green chip episode and less of Binky trying to push a four year old around like this. And also less of DW being insufferable like this
D.W. is responsible for every bad thing that has ever happened and ever will happen, all of which of course were done with Caillou under the command of D.W. and Caillou's master/mistress, Pink Gold Peach the trueest form of all pure evil and illegalness.
@@gradynaylor959 I stopped buying their products because of the ways they've been horribly mistreating Thomas the Tank Engine since late 2017. I don't feel comfortable giving my money to them knowing that. I didn't even see the Barbie movie when it was in theaters for that reason.
We can thank Nelson Muntz for starting that trope of the bully who becomes friends with the main cast. He walked so Harold, Binky, and Buford could run.
Ah yes... the classic "James split his pants" episode. Good choice. Also, FU to the writers of this episode for forgetting that DW and Binky had already become friends with each other during the green potato chip incident five seasons earlier.
The Cutie Mark Crusaders were pretty horrible though. There's an episode where they spread nasty rumors about their entire town. I think that's an episode Matt should cover on "It's Just a Cartoon."
@OzzyNe0n At least they learned their lesson by the end and apologized. That, and they were being coerced by Diamond "gonna make the front page and not in a good way" Tiara.
This episode actually foreshadowed Buster as a teacher cause in the final episode, he did become a teacher. Not the “cool” kind like the imaginary one, tho.
I swear Binky is my favorite character. He may not be the smartest character, but he has a good heart. He’s supposed to be the bully but he ends up being the strong support. Unlike most teachers, he actually changes his teaching methods to help his student understand. He knows ballet, but it isn’t weirdly feminine about it. He is also very supportive of his friends and has a strong moral compass, unlike DW or Francine.
Judging by how quiet things were in the house, with the parents absent, i'm going to suspect that DW wasn't punished for stealing from Arthur and showing his underwear in school. I'm going to say that if the parents knew they would say "It was an accident," or "She doesn't know any better' or worst of all "It's too adorable."
D.W.: You have to do what I want or you'll get an F! Binky: Oh yeah? Well, if you don't do what I want you'll get an FU! Me: You aren't entirely wrong there Binky.
I remember really liking this episode as a kid! They had kind of an interesting dynamic here- I liked how patient he was with her (not an easy feat!) I think it would've been cool to see him interact more with her, like a second 'big brother' figure.
Gotta love how many continuity errors this show has. It's funny that they assumed kids were too stupid and wouldn't notice. Let me tell you, I definitely noticed a good few throughout the run... though all of them are escaping my mind at the moment. Also... why did they partner Binky with DW at all? You'd think they'd want to pair up the boys with other boys so their interests would align better. Then again, if Binky was brave enough to give her a "world of pain", the writers would have forgotten about it by the following episode.
Your next video should cover "Arthur and D.W. Clean Up"! Arthur ended do ALL the work while D.W. was doing nothing but messing with his stuff. Then when the time came to clean her room, she wouldn't let Arthur do anything and somehow Arthur was the one got lectured!
I oddly enjoyed this episode as a kid, even though it may seem anachronistic or impractical to have preschool and third grade students working on a group project in the same setting. I also never thought of the part at 1:11 as being a callback to "Arthur's Big Hit", or even to one scene in "To Tibble the Truth" (Season 7 Episode 4A). Possibly just as strange as how the show doesn't know if D.W. can read, is how the Tough Customers don't suspect they are actually being taught ballet at any point in the instruction leading to Ratburn complimenting it at the end.
Again for this, I don’t think this is one of DW‘s worst. It’s just one of her flaws as she’s trying to learn how to dance for the upcoming performance project day in school but Binky gets too perfectionist. This episode shows another one of Binky DW bonding as friends show that sometimes you had to be taught how to do the step before you learn how to make it, right
Wait wait wait Are you telling me that rabbit girl in the back at 0:56 who sometimes hangs out with Binky is supposed to be a THIRD GRADER??? There’s no way XD.
A for effort though on binky's part. He made her index cards. I didn't start making index cards till I was 19 in university. Commitment to the craft is something I can get behind.
That part about she could’ve had the Read parents read the cards for her never occurred to me. I remember this episode but I’m now convinced the episode was pointless than ever.
No wonder the shocking revelation of DW liking MLP is horrifying. Heck, i would be begging to rather be paired up with piece of cardboard instead of that hell spawn.
If you thought that fourth wall break by Binky was unexpected, then just wait until you hear the fourth wall break by Simon the Monster Hunter at the end of the Ahhh Real Monsters episode Showdown he says to Ickis about catching Ickis and putting him on TV.
Man this episode just ruins the other episode with the Green Chip. Like you said, The Tough Customers didn't mind Binky doing Ballet. Then there was the fact DW got along better with Binky than her own brother.
It honestly wouldn’t surprise me if Arthur, (based on all his negative experiences & emotional trauma inflicted on him, mainly from DW herself), developt some form of Dissociative Identity Disorder, and/or Antisocial Personality Disorder (more commenly knows as ASPD, or Sociopathy). And starts acting out against everyone around him, not just because of everything DW did to him, but also because he grew to believe that everyone around him (with maybe the exception of Grandma Thora), regardless of how nice they may seem, ultimately hated him. But instead, he turned out to be perfectly normal as an adult, became a successful Author, and the rest is history. Literally! Maybe i'm overthinking it?
The Episode Of D.W. and "Nadine" Travel Back In Time To Make D.W. The First Born Instead Of Arthur From "The Baby Store" and Abandon An Baby Arthur ( Episode : D.W. Time Trouble )
After hearing DW can't dance I just went bye-bye bye on her with the bye bye bye dance from Deadpool...... I don't want to see you out that door baby bye-bye bye-bye
Remember when DW got mad at Arthur because she thought Arthur told everyone about her and the green potato chip with the intent to embarrass her... Mean while she is embarrassing Arthur in front of his friends on purpose.
Definitely since DW was an idiot in that episode, since she tried to walk the class pet which made him get lost, and DW literally started crying after the bunny got lost, and she also thought bunnies don’t eat carrots when Arthur gave the bunny a carrot. A good title would be: “DW LOSES HER CLASS PET (and cries)”
3:12 I, too, once gave myself a "natural tetanus shot" when I was a kid. I felt something poking my foot, took my shoe off and nothing was in it, look at the bottom of the shoe and there's a huge nail head stuck in it. 😅
