About how far into a fortress(population) until you should build a jail? Im completely knew to the game and the complexities of everything makes it hard for me.
Iirc the amount of jail time is based on the nature (and number) of crimes, but with vampires you have a few options. If you're of the mindset that they need to be killed, a trip to the ol' atom smasher never fails. If you prefer to make a use out of them, you can lock or seal them into a particular part of your fortress and use them as forced labour or to manage levers. It's DF, so there really is no upper limit to your creativity when it comes to punishing them 😂
