I just completed the dwarf campaign with Belegar. For all the complaints, it's fun, and even if you early confederate the minor faction to get a better army, it's not a big deal, because once the ball starts rolling it doesn't stop. Grudges galore! There's enjoyment in playing "the exiled king reclaiming his birthright", and once the power spike hits when you reach Karak 8 Peaks it feels earned. Also, I'm surprised you've finally gotten the last name for Malakai right.
CA did very well with Thrones of Decay. If they hit us with this level of fun from the start or warhammer 3, this game would have continued to go super nova.
Thorek is by far the most enjoyable dwarf campaign on legendary difficulty IMHO :D Omnidirectional crisis and you have to be strategic about it (unlike other steamroll campaigns)
Thorek is probably in my top 5 campaigns, hunting down the artefacts and buffing up quarrellers to an absurd degree is some of the most fun I've had in the game.
Sorry i can't play Dwarves because i have a legendary grudge against devs who can't code a gauge correctly. Look right from the bat the Elgi segment of the Age of Reckoning is filled (0 to 24%) but you are at 0%. This is the kind of non sense that piss me off.
