Henry is such a gentleman. He’s surrounded by back stabbing idiots in Hollywood yet he’s always courteous in his responses.

I don't understand why these franchises can't see the love the fandom has for Cavill.

So stupid I think most fans would rather see a Man Of Steel 2 with Henry Cavill.

Everyone knows the reason he left The Witcher was because he was unhappy with how the crew were treating the series and the fact that they were actively mocking the source material.

Henry Cavill even looks like the original superman Christopher Reeves. He was amazing in the Witcher & can't believe he's lost both roles. They should realise their mistake and listen to the fans. I think that he would make a fantastic James Bond.

CAVILL stated in an interview before everything hit the fan that the reason he was leaving the Witcher was that the writers were "NOT" staying true to the source material. He also stated that when he was hired for the witcher, he had told the producers he was a major fan ,and if they strayed from the source material, he would leave the show .🤷‍♂️

He left the Witcher because (from my understanding) he wanted to keep it more true to the book series, and they wanted to hollywoodize it.

I never thought anyone would make the Superman role as great as Reeves did, maybe because I'm from that generation. However, when I watched Cavill do it I thought it was pretty damn amazing and from there on, in my opinion, he owned that role. Everything about him screamed Superman. I don't think DC or WB listen to their fan base very well.

Henry Cavill was perfectly cast as superman in my opinion. The best actors and special effects can't make a good movie if the script is mediocre at best. Don't get me wrong comedy is great but I can imagine Gunn making a goofy superman movie like the guardians of the Galaxy, which are good movies but it don't work for the man of steel or Batman, they aren't really the joking type. Few things DC got right in the last 10 yrs was Cavill as superman, Gadot as wonder woman and Jason mamoa as Aquaman. Guaranteed Henry Cavill has already talked to Kevin feige.

Henry just came across as a smart/professional person in his reactions to what those two studios did to him. Being publicly pissed off would have just slammed the door on his future with those two movie companies (and a couple others as well). By being gracious and publicly wishing continued good luck to both the company and replacement actor he will probably be picked up for future projects. He is way too talented to be left on the bench.

You have to respect Dwayne. Who worked very hard and made a movie and got some big names and made a fun film that seemed quite popular all based on some character most people had never heard of.He also used all his influence to promote the movie. It also set the scene for sequels and other character movies. He also got Cavill back. Pretty impressive. Far better than the average actor who just acts for money.

We like this superman and constantly bringing heroes back to their origin stories doesn't help when it already works but needs finer tuning. From my understanding Cavill was not replaced in the Witcher rather he left because of the writing. Witcher PR team has been working overtime trying to keep the damage to a minimum.

Gunn and Safron misled Cavill every step of the way. Cavill has been nothing but honest. He quit the Witcher because it was going in a too woke direction. He was gone no matter what by his own choice. Gunn lied to Cavill about coming back. So Henry will continue to be a star, odds on favorite to be the next Bond, Gunn will destroy DC (think about what the word Legacy means) and that will be that. Superman Legacy will bomb due to having the bisexual Jonathan Kent as the lead and Gunn will be dodging the outrageous arrows of fate and fortune. All while he had the Snyderverse handed him on a silver platter, 3 or 4 camera ready films ready to go, with or without Snyder. MOS, BVS, ZSJL we’re all on an upward incline, Wonder Woman broke the ceiling and Aquaman broke a billion.why tinker with success?

Man I just learned this! What the hell this is a huge bummer. It took a minute or two but he did make superman his own. I hope somthing changes this. I am an old school Christopher Reeves guy' so that's always been the image burned in my head, but Cavill did the job perfectly.

At this point in his career, Henry Cavill should just go his own way and pick his own projects to work in. He is 40 years old now and he looks to be in great shape as always but the way DC franchises seem to be flushing down the toilet for one reason or another these days should tell Henry that now is a good time to just leave it all behind, go forward and do his own thing. Henry has the gravitas and years of experience to write his own ticket. It’s really a shame he couldn’t continue being the face of this generation’s Superman, he was just perfect in it, the role fit him like a glove. But life can be cruel sometimes, they rejected him, so he would be better off saying his goodbyes and moving on.

I thought Henry Cavill was the best Superman they could find. He played a phenomenal role! He made a great Clark Kent, and his structure was a phenomenal Superman. Next, reboot they probably will get someone that looks like the actor from Superman Returns, lol. Dwayne as Black Adam was one of the best DC movies I've seen. I feel that they definitely should have kept that going. Sometimes, when someone plays a role, it's really hard to feel their shoes with a reboot. I think this is one of those occasions. Dwayne's Black Adam has big shoes to fill. I mean, really, how many reboots do you want to see of Batman and Superman? Just leave it as is. Best Superman is Henry Cavill. Best Batman was the dark knight series. there's no replacing this black adam. Best actor for Spider-Man was The Amazing Spider-Man. I know I jumped off the DC on that one. Any other reboots are just wasting time now. It's like trying to change the character of Iron Man. There's no way to to replace Robert Downey!

I wonder if the best movie quality depends on not letting down the actors or other key contributors. Even if the end product is not what a producer or director wanted most.

I got a transfer to different BMW dealer in Georgia from New York, I spoke to the manager at the time & he said he would be leaving but he did hire me, by the time I got down there to get the job, the new manager didn't hire me, I explained to him that before I even came here I was hired by the manager before they made him the manager. It didn't really make a difference, but yet about a year later he called me & hire me anyway. Sometimes when someone new comes into manage they want to start off fresh with a different look

BLACK ADAM was a beautiful and too cool movie. It had no cussing or nudity, i barely saw or heard any in the movie. It was fun and cool for every age. Seeing MR. DWAYNE JOHNSON and MR. HENRY CAVIL ON SCREEN TOGETHER WAS TOO COOL AND TOO AWESOME.

Any of these companies should be lucky to have Cavill. He isnt in it for the money, hes in it for the passion. The rock is in it for the money, thats why he keeps churning out crap movies on netflix. WB proper goofed this one.

We had the best Superman/Kent and the best Gerald possible, an actor committed to the characters, the source material and the fans in a very special way, so sad, but with the painful lessons learned he will surely make a great Warhammer 40k

Personally everybody who wanted to be involved in the DC universe should have come together sat down layer out a plan and work together.
