The man is a treasure. By explaining his sounds in detail you get a chance to incoporate that knowledge piece by piece into your own sounds. I love every little bit of it. I obviously cant play like him at all but to put his knowledge into my own guitar playing has given me great pleasure and satisfaction.

The Mid Range Phased (canceling) Stereo Dynamic Flanger Delay & Distortion patch is Frank Zappa's signature tone and Dweezil's now too. Its absolutely amazing.

Love this guy. His playing is amazing and Frank would be proud. Unfortunately, Frank was one of a kind. One of the most brilliant thinkers in the 20th Century.

I've used 2 amps to produce stereo modulation features but I never thought to BLEND patches to produce an unlimited variety of creative stereo sounds. Awesome! There are probably other ways to create this blending operation but now I think I need 2 Axe III's and an awesome custom foot pedal controller! Hah!

Dweezil,(and fellow Roxy SG owners), do u find the frets on the (production model) Roxy SG,that the frets are ultra tiny? I'll assume it was FZ's preference, I find them extremely hard to "get under"

QUADROGONG - yeah they're very modest compared the average, but it's such a quick guitar and I think that contributes to that. Also makes picking at the high end of the fretboard where you contact the string on the fret more subtle.

He's lacking highs and lows, it's like all that wierd Octavia midrange, He gets some beautiful tones, but it does lack high end in a lot of places, maybe the cocked back wah? He's pretty badass though,no matter how u slice it, he can play..

Mr11oo - I think it's deliberate - it's designed to sit in a very busy mix - brass/piano/cymbals all need a bit of room up top too.

That's probably why. I get a lot of highs and presence when playing with a direct signal.

Steven van Demsky sounds incredible live, tremendous control on how it sits in the mix, very much a high quality audio listening experience. I find In most of the Reverb demonstrations everyone's tone tends to sound harsher while juxtaposed to a "bedroom" tone but for a live setting, this guys are dialed in
