I learned this song while I was in prison. I found peace in this song with a few others. I am so grateful to the Almighty God for taking care of me and touching my life. This song reminds me to be thankful for everything that he has done
I got to worship/play with Casey at Tehachapi Mountain vineyard a couple weeks ago. We're doing Thin Place this weekend, I was asked to lead it. It's just a humbling joy that God still decides He can use me...very grateful, thank you Yeshua!
@@patcaploe7250 Thin Place is a good tune. However I think Casey’s best song is one that is coming out later this year. My Soul Depends On You Keep an eye out for it
It's been a few years since I've heard this song. It was like water to a dry and parched land. It's message is my life-long cry and longing. Thank you, Casey, and all the team, for such a sweet offering before God, that we can all enter into, together.
Hi, I'm Kyle from Vineyard South Africa 🇿🇦 Durban, Phoenix. These are the songs that I grew up listening to. Thank you for such anointed worship ❤ Be blessed always 🙏
The build in this performance/recording is just out of this world. Such a simple song, but the sonic environment they created is just so hospitable to God’s presence. Thank you for this truly wonderful prayer. All these years later, and probably my single favorite record The Vineyard has produced, though I love many of them.
The Spirit “Dwells” inside those devout dedicated followers of Jesus the Savior. There are many being transferred to higher levels in there closeness to God by this moving song.
This prayer, this chant, this simple invitation, this calls to the presence of the Holy Spirit. Not just into the environment, but into your Temple! To make His home in you! I love this song!
Brother, that sooo nails it. That is powerful! It is indeed a prayer, a calling out to a Holy God to have His way with us; to fully and completely surrender to His wonderful, loving will. And this song reminds me what a powerful vehicle music is to express our praise and worship to a Holy God.
So, went to service. My Son was leading the band today and the band started this tune. As soon as he starting singing I went into a daze man. This tune has now entered my conscience.... kiiler harmonies and, the groove that delivered the message sent me on to lovely day.
Magnificent! This came to my mind this morning while studying Psalms - such a relevant song with an invitation to Come! Referring to Jesus's prayer in the garden of Gethsemane before He was arrested, "Not my will, but Yours (Father) be done".
This song was played at our wedding 13 years ago. Lately, the Lord has been showing me how Sukkot, the Feast of the Tabernacles is about JOY and God coming to ‘dwell’ ‘tabernacle’ with us.
As a “member” and worship leader at a vineyard church in bc. I really wish we could come back to these musical roots. Before there was bethel and hillsong and elevation we had stuff like this. I have the privilege to play with the thiessen’s on their team, and other crazy good old vineyard guys! I want our younger generation to light vineyard music on fire again. Come on, I love this song. It’s honestly way before it’s time musically, and build wise and theologically it’s way better than most modern stuff. Don’t get me wrong I love the maveric city’s and the bethels and elevations etc.. but we are the OG. I want it to come back
Got this in my registration kit 2005 or 07 at Purpose Driven worship conference California ...It still resonates...my hearts passion...not our will but yours be done. .. Dwell in the midst of us...No presence of God and we are just another ordinary gathering of people, like a club....love the entire video....
I think one of the most anointed Jesus led songs that the Church has, to date. :) Professionally, it’s done so well:) The blending of the instruments are perfect, nothing is out of place, the harmonies are perfect, the sound guys were perfect. On a technical level It’s just great lol But the song itself is so anointed & precious. 🤍
gorgeous. I've been enjoying and playing this song in worship for I forget how many years. Just listened to it again, for the first time in years, here. It's better than ever. Rarely does a song improve. This one ages very well. Simply brings out my worship!
I remember when this cd/dvd came out (my son was in grade school. He is now in grad school). I've led worship with this song and even though I'm no longer the worship leader, when i do lead for special occasions or deep worship prayer nights, I'm always asked to sing this song. ❤❤❤☝My heart cry then and now DWELL / Come Lord Jesus ❤❤❤❤
if you are born again, you are not a sinner!!!!! God does not see your sin. He sees your righteousness...you are MADE righteous by Christ and confirmed by the indwelling Spirit!
That's our prayer and cry. To be His dwelling place for the Trinity. Father Son and Holy Spirit. If we obey Jesus He promised THEY will come. Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. (Jn 14:23-24)
Thank You , New Subscriber somebody gave a cd about 10 - 11 years ago had Casey and Group on it . Just Awesome .. I think I seen VIineyard Worship USA do a cover the other day it was Awesome .Casey Corum
It took me a few listens to catch the power of the theology embedded here. It's not simple at all. It's a combination of a cluster of references, in Rev 21 and half a dozen places in the OT prophecies that are quoted there, combined with the attitude expressed in Matt 6:10 and Luke 22: 42 of God's will being paramount. It's not just "come, Holy Spirit," but rather calling for the contemporary fulfillment of passages often taken to be descriptions of a future heaven, in which God comes and makes His habitation among men a permanent thing. "And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them..." Rev 21:3
its another level of spiritual maturity when gospel singers are not bothered with the crowd's response during worship, but rather emerged and sunk into seeking God and His presence... When it is beyond the voice, tone, keys, and instruments... Unfortunately and so sad, we turned them into entertainers and make me feel good.
It's hard b/c the flesh wants approval and praise. Worshippers likewise need to bee careful not to lift up the musician. Everyone should feel free to offer self expression to the Lord. And even if it isn't obvious on the outside, there may be much going on on the inside...the reflections of the heart.
And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gLaDnEsS... And David dAnCeD before the LORD with ALL his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.2Samuel6
