Anyone who tried Jax vs Kennen match up knows that if Jax get a single kill, it is impossible for Kennen to win. The reason why Nuguri's the reason DWG won that match is that Nuguri dodged SN's effort to give that single kill to Jax. If you seen the entire match, you would know that SN focused heavily on top lane trying to shut down Kennen. If it was any other player playing Kennen, SN would have gave that single kill Jax needs. While SN played top game and failed, DWG focused bot and snowballed. This match up wasn't about Kennen pressuring Jax at all, but rather Nuguri dodging SN's gank. The part where SN tried 3 man gank and Nuguri erased minions so that Beryl can come is the reason why Nuguri is the best top laner in the world right now.

It's not about getting a single kill, it's about an early kill, which can be transferred to gold gap and kill pressure so that Kennen can no longer deny Jax farms. I'm pretty sure Kennen pressuring Jax so that Jax was behind in farm is a major reason why Jax was not effective that game, because SN did managed to get kills and assists onto the Jax, but those efforts simply wasn't enough. Jax was 1/3/1 @15:17 mark with 97 cs, about 50 cs behind time and only a single turret plate. Using an average of 20g/cs, 50cs behind time means Jax loss out 1000g from farms alone, much bigger than a kill.

When i play league, i like to spend more time looking at the map than the lane. That's what first got me to high plat from silver with over 65 percent win rate. Though, cuz of that my mechanics is kinda crappy. That's why it's not easy for me to get pass diamond xd

how do you play this match up in solo queue when most jgler can't coordinate the counter gank and protect the poor kennen... it was just disrepectful of Bin choosing Jax in 2nd pick knowing how good of a Kennen player Nuguri is.
no the counterpick with highest win ratio against jax is quinn at over 60%. malphite, maokai, jayce, teemo/rumble have higher winrates over kennen, kennen is not in top 5 counterpicks against jax
@@joshtan7090 almost all those picks were played at this worlds (quinn, malph, mao, jayce). almost anyone will tell you that for example quinn is a much more obvious counterpick than kennen. her blind shuts down almost everything jax wants to do. her vault is a much better response to jax leap strike than kennens lightning rush. jax has harder time with his ult as well, as she can kite away from him while jax ult is active, as opposed to against kennen you can just spam ult when kennen uses his own ult. in conclusion, kennen is not the most obvious counterpick to jax, theres others that are stronger against jax that were viable in the meta.

to be fair any top main know kennen is too broken but riot refuse to nerf him because to nobody play him and under no circumstances he should lose to jax
if kennen is so broken why did none of the worlds teams prioritize him like they did for other power picks like lucian, nid, ornn, graves, syndra etc. guess you know better than all the best teams in the world. nuguri is more of a kennen main than an ornn main so why did dwg and every other team prioritize ornn over kennen.

Bro don't make it seem like this matchup is even close... Anyone who has played this matchup knows that it's pretty much impossible to lane against a kennen. If anything Nuguri should have won much harder.
@@danieljang6918 nah Bin is better. I have yet to see Nuguri beat any top laners international outside of LCK. I could be wrong. Nuguri lost to TheShy in 2019, lost to Impact in 2019, lost at MSC 2020, was meh vs Bin in the finals. I could be wrong but yea I don’t remember any games where he smashed lane
then go watch them. some people want to see singing and dancing, some people want to see game strategy and the highest levels of competitive play. this is obviously for the latter.
yeah you can beat bin, one of the best top laners in the world, on jax one of his most comfort picks, and do as good as world champ nuguri just by having the 2 picks be the same, if youre a "hard stuck d4 player" you should just play counterpicks and become the best player in your region. so go on get to it and become the next faker. what a joke.
@@anzumazaki7798 you should try googling what a hyperbole means. He is kinda right tho, the video is pointless, 2 players of the same skill levels, and the one with the counterpick got the advantage in the lane in which counterpick matters the most. Who would have thought?
@@mbsss how is the video pointless, it shows how well nuguri played the lane with his mechanics and game knowledge. If its two players at a similar skill level, the video shows how one player tried multiple times to take control of the lane and how the other player played optimally to counter everything that his opponent tried to do. That’s the point of this series.
