Lol only because he knew Dwight would tell him to stop before he was stabbed. Don't r/wooosh me, I'm only 3 years old and it's my first time my mom let me use the internet.
KingInTheNorth well the thing about it is, that it wasn’t a Woosh because he was making a joke that flew over your he- HA YOU FELL FOR IT FOOL, THUNDER CROSS SPLIT ATTACK
I've made a JOKER Parody trailer with Dwight Schrute. I'd really appreciate it if you can take a look at it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Vk-4V2yRaM8.html
Judging by Jim's face I think they didn't intend it as in-character moment, but rather instructed the actors to do it like that. This was to make sure they didn't accidentally pull the pumpkin off, because it was obviously designed to come off.
Have you not flipped knives or axes before? It’s pretty hard to cut yourself, they also flip in a repeatable manner... it’s just about like catching a water bottle after you’ve flipped it (actually, I’ve had more injuries doing that than a knife). Knives are not lightsabers, you’ll especially know that if you ever try throwing knives you really have to hurl the $hit out of them to get them to stab into wood. I will say though, that I once got stabbed by a spoon, so maybe that day of trying to eat one of the brownies while my mom was cooking battle hardened me, but I seriously doubt that...
Jake Garrett It's easy to cut yourself if the knife is sharp. Accidentally skinned my knee once because I was practicing knife flipping. Well, probably because I'm still an amateur.
“As Jim and I discovered...” Despite what Dwight says we all know he and Jim are best buds. I mean I didn’t see anyone else coming at Dwight’s head with a knife or offering to hit him with a bat. That’s true friendship right there.
The way Dwight runs away at 0:31 cracks me up so hard. The way the pumpkin tilts slightly to the side and his cautious run makes it look so difficult to do anything in.
I love how this entire scene feels like a dream sequence. Especially Jim flipping the knife or smashing the pumpkin with the bat. You don’t usually see him that animated.🤣
"...any blow to the pumpkin itself could prove fatal to me." Sounds like the start of a superhero movie "And so I've decided to see this as an opportunity, and become the pumpkin man."
I've always had my suspicions with who's head was actually in the pumpkin because the movements seemed weird and not Dwight/Rainn-like. But then thinking about it, anyone would behave weirdly supporting an 11 lbs object on their head.
Anybody else wonder how the actors just don’t break character when Dwight sits there in the conference room with the pumpkin still on? I would have to leave that room because of the constant laughing 😂
0:42 If that were a real pumpkin, Dwight would not bend his head like that; the weight would be a major strain on his neck. (And yes, I'm speaking from experience here.)
