Former MLB star Dwight "Doc" Gooden detailed harrowing experiences with Tampa police that left a lasting impact. Gooden recounted an off-season incident where he was pulled over by police on what seemed to be baseless suspicions, a common occurrence for athletes in Tampa regardless of race. On this particular night, Gooden and fellow athletes, identified by their luxury cars, were stopped. When Gooden questioned the police's motives, he was met with excessive force, including being beaten, choked, and hogtied.
The ordeal didn't stop there. Years later, Gooden’s mother, driving a white Escalade, was forcefully pulled over by Tampa police while picking up her grandson. The aggressive manner in which she was treated, despite her innocence, led to severe stress and a subsequent heart attack, which Gooden believes contributed to her passing. Gooden remains adamant that these events reflect a troubling pattern of police behavior in Tampa, one that tragically affected his family.

Good for you. Ive been arrested/detained maybe 5 of times in 30 years or so as far as i can remember. My last time when i dealt with some absolutely crooked cops in my county. They illegally kidnapped me ( i was being transported away from my car to go see some detectives according to an old lawyer friend) also the one piece of 💩 cop illegally searched my car. When we transported me to the detective station, i needed to pee. This mofo put me in SHACKLES. Like the one you see in the movie Life. That connect to your feet and arms bound. Never in my life did i think they even had those in the their vehicle. So yea i wouldnt be surprised a probably crooked and rprolly acists cops would do some ish like that. The whole fact that they tried to switch out his cops with two black ones in the ambulance tells me alot. These US police gotta be the worst [first-world country] police ever

Also i just finished watching. At the end he says shackled. Im wondering if too him "shackles = hogtied". Might be some country talk. In my case my shackles were in the front . i dont know if they make backside shackles. Because thas what i think of with hogtied

Acting like a jerk isn’t against the law. He wasn’t acting like a jerk he was tired of being harassed which I’m sure he provided in that court room. Not against the law. Keep making excuses.
