Dwight and Patty, two of the best artist in country music. Love to listen to them as a duet or individual. There music and vocals are totally awesome. Beautiful song..Pure country..
Patty is a legend of Louisville, KY. Our city puts famous people from Louisville on the sides of buildings. Our city needs to put her photograph on one of our buildings.
Ahh yes Patty, Emmylou, Martina, Dolly, Patsy and all of those angelic voices that knew and felt the real soul of country music. No different than Aretha was to soul and Billie was to jazz. Without experiencing the heartache, heartbreak and hunger (both literally and figuratively) you can't be a true country artist. IMO
Everytime I see Dwight singing on stage, it is hard to believe that he played Doyle the mean boyfriend who got killed in "SlingBlade". I didn't even know it was him until I read the credits to the movie. A great actor to go along with being a great singer. And Patty.....she can melt the North Pole ice she is so hot.
Patty and Dwight are two of my all time favourite singers. Sound is pure country it doesn't get any better than this.Would love to see them together in concert. Love them both....from CANADA
Always good to see and hear Ms Loveless who pulled at the old heart strings in some of her ballads. This song didn't do all that well on the charts, peaked at (47), but certainly deserved better. "How Can I Help You Say Goodbye" is oneof those heart tuggers
i think this video guarantees at least another 100 years of country music, the "new?" face Dwight, (I know not new but he looks about 12 in this video to me) and the classic sound of Patty, it simply can't get much better, thx makeminecountry2!!!
very sweet harmony....I'm mostly rock n roll, but good music is good music....I thank YT for enriching my musical depth as a musician and a guitar teacher..also I thank God Dayton Oh. finally got a radio channel with great music,. 105.9 from Northern Ky. University...commercial free , no less....
This is fantastic. Thanks a million and a half for putting this on YT. I have always loved this song; their blend, vocally, is awesome. One of those duet teams that sound like they were born to sing together. Wish they'd do more. Love Dwight, love Patty, and this song is from "If There Was a Way," my all-time favorite country record. Thanks again!
God almighty, I start playing this kind of thing and I'm gonna be getting into the rubbing alcohol before the smoke clears! Thanks for posting this, never seen it before.
Being a Montanan, it goes without saying that Kostas is the greatest songwriter our state has produced. Couldn't find two better folks to sing this song either.
I have seen many country concerts I saw Dwight in the nineties at merryweather post pavillion by far the best performance I have ever ever seen I Love Love Love him Brigette Fonda is a lucky woman
