I agree. If they did this for her, she should've done this with Emmitt & Mario, and Helio & Mel, and everyone that came after. It's not fair for her to have to do this, & then no one else have to after her.
@BehindTheHarleyShop i totally agree with you. i really felt john and his fans made a big deal over dwts when they shouldn't had. kelly may not have been the best dancer, but she improved the most and really worked hard to get to the finals.
@copperhead29 basically, abc reported getting a lot of backlash from viewers who felt kelly shouldn't have won, and john o'hurley himself made a lot of comments on how she had a big fanbase. i don't think there would've been a dance-off if john hadn't whined so much.
Wow, I never knew this happened! O'Hurley is so full of himself, he even made a "Learn to Dance with John and Charlotte" video after he won this. He's miles away from being remotely close to a dancer.
i dont like kelly monaco but i can understand why she won. It was because she took the judges criticism to heart. Like first week she did the worst for Her waltz and I believe that got her very motivated to dance. then Her rumba came along and even though it was sexy , her movements were really awkward. then she improved a little more on her jive but Bruno told her to get ballet classes to strengthen her upper body in arm and she actually did and samba turned out great. And from then on she got better. So its reasonable that she won. I actually wanted jon o hurley to win but after his whining about how he should have won in this danceoff, i lost all respects to him afterward. He didnt acknowledge her improvement or anything. He just thought that he was the best out of everyone around that time. watching the show afterwards and seeing how they are competitive yet reasonable and acknowledging to each other I just felt John O Hurley was just being a big jerk in this. I think all his jokes and stuff or just to make us laugh too vote for him in order for him to win but in reality even though he can dance for somebody his age he turned out to be a big jerk.
Nella J ever since i got into this show, I wanted to watch all the season so I knew what occur and i can understand certain references that were brought on to the later shows. also, i wanted to see evolution as to how every season played out and improved. so yes i was crazy enough to watch all the season to now.
this was so stupid there should never have been a DANCE OFF she won her trophy fair and square I was so pissed off when this went down. . . and then she lost . . . that was just ridiculous. . .
Oh My Gawd! Seriously? John O'hurley thinks he was BETTER than Kelly Monaco? Was he watching the SAME show I was? He just stood there like a stiff mannequin compared to her. I'd like to see him do splits,twirls and back-breaking moves the way she did? Even her partner did mores work and more moves than O'hurley did!! I used to like the guy, but after his incessant WHINING, what a sore loser, he just disgusts me now!! What an ego!! Hey John: "WANT A LITTLE CHEESE WITH THAT WHINE?!"
