We respond to issues and don't avoid the problems that might arise. I'm sure partey will get injured I just hope we have covered this! I know there were some decisions that did not necessarily go our way but we have to move on to the next fixture, NLD. It is clear that we need some reinforcements on the bench as our bench was very weak for Arteta to only make a defensive sub. ESR and Nelson will be back soon, good to see Jesus back in training as well. The positives out of this game is that we could've easily had a player sent off (red carded) and left Emirates with no injuries. Newcastle are not easy to break down they are well disciplined and organized defensively, we struggled to break them down. They played park the bus football for more than 40 mins too. We go again in the NLD!!
I didn't think about the red cards. Newcastle were the aggressor and of course when we retaliate...some how we do it wrong and get punished. I can't believe Arteta doesn't have confidence in Viera, since when we brought him, there were other players available for a few Million more but Arsenal wanted him. hmmm. But as you said NLD is next. Team will be ready. Hopefully we are learning from the last visits to the Toilet Bowl.
