They had an answer for Barea, they had Carlos Arroyo who knows how Barea Plays very well and I think could've done a better job defending him, but they decided to trade him to get Bibby and that didn't work out

At no time did Barea cover Lebron. J-Kidd, Marion, and Stevenson were the ones that had that task. Maybe Terry had to a couple times on the switch but not a lot. Barea did do some scoring on lebron though.

@@bigred9991 False! JJ BAREA did cover Lebron from time to time in the Finals and shut him down. I’ve watched it and a slew of analysts watched it. Even during the season he shut him down. Lebron was getting offensive foul calls, missing jump shots and cut off. To add, game 4 LBJ only scored 8 points all game. LBJ is still 1 of my favorite players. I was highly surprised that J.J. Made key stops for the Mavs to win.

@rhymadysneakers1910 your memory has failed you. Maybe you're confusing Kidd for Barea. I don't care what happens or how bad Lebron is playing if Barea was guarding lebron would have scored every time. Lebron is 6'8" and 250lbs and Barea is 5'10" and 185lbs. Lebron would have taken him in the paint and had his way with him. Also the Mavs played a ton of zone that series so if Barea was playing he would have guarded anyone at the top of the key. Maybe that's what you saw. I don't know. But at no point would Barea being guarding Lebron. Barea wasn't exactly known for his defense.

@@bigred9991 No not at all. You’re going into detail about assignments. Yes, when you’re playing a zone defense you tend to guard whoever’s in your zone. So, LBJ was in J.J. Barea’s zone and he shut him down.

Dirk played with a 102°F fever and still clutched a Game 4 win this time the series. He led the charge in Game 2 after being down 15 and made the go-ahead shot that would win the game. Without Dirk's performances in those two games, the Mavs get swept. Dirk was the true difference maker for that entire series, and everyone on that team knows it

As a Heat fan Lebron proved that year that hes not Jordan and could never be as good as Jordan. I'm thankful for two Championships he gave us but if you gave Jordan...Dwade and Bosh he would have a Championship for every year he played in Miami
