Being made of ten Zords probably right being the most powerful base Megazord but there are much stronger Zords than Kingohger at their most basic configuration

@@NotMyRealName6 I think you meant dino fury. Yes, their megazord has knees and elbows unlike the JP release. This is a surprise to me, as this toy was released on 2021 but Onitaijin got released in 2022. I'm not sure about the internal stuff, but onitaijin's engineering upgrade compared to their previous releases coincided with other major design/engineering upgrades in other Bandai toy lines, especially Gunpla and the entire WfM being of an entirely overhauled structure and independent building techniques depending on the suit's main designer it seems. It's probably a lot of factors from multiple fronts: the rise of chinese companies with some of them making comparable or even better than bandai products at half or even less of their equivalent price; pressure from JP market to produce better Sentai toys; Hasbro as you said might have influence as well, and many others I probably overlooked.

Also noticed that in the past few years, even Korean 3D animated series have very good combiner robot toy lines (roughly corresponding to JP megazords) and thus the pressure is on for Bandai to start innovating for I guess around a decade now. Kinda sad they only started pretty recently, ended up with a few dozen lackluster ones due to neglect.

Not really, instead joke more about the fact Avataro and Ohger feels more like a Kamen Rider series than Revice and Saber did. In terms of insects its hard not to be compared to Riders since Insects are an important part of the actual Riders than just because they have Insect related forms

Maybe they're switching mech roles to see if it works.
