The whole idea of a robot piloting a bigger robot and using that to pilot an even bigger robot is my favorite thing about this set. It makes use of shuriken jin's leg articulation and is the next logical step up from the theme he already has going with the lil' red robot in the driver's seat. I think it's genius, and I commend them for being able to pull off such a feat. This is one of the most unique combinations to come out in a LONG time.
+NickonAquaMagna I just find this thing cool as hell. I like it's look, It's transformation, just everything about it. I will admit it is a brick though.
+NickonAquaMagna It's almost like Fortress Maximus from the original Transformers RID; A robot became the head of a robot which became the head of a robot lol
bandai japan was so much better than bandai america japan versions have better quality. but seriouslly bandai america the other support zords were suppossed to be sold separately in japan not as a whole zord repaint i call this triple dipping.
I remember when I was young and people told me Power Rangers was absurd. I always ignored them and kept watching Dino Thunder. Yeah, now I'm the one saying that it's absurd lol
ah Ninninger the russian nesting dolls of Sentai, YOU HAD ONE JOB BANDAI, ONE JOB! I too was looking forward to the next mecha having Shunobimari sitting in Shurikenjin sitting in Lion Ha Oh sitting in that.
awesome review and I really appreciate the use of such quality in the camera it makes for such better reviews and as far as ninninger I was like you at first I wasn't interested in this at all the only thing that drew me in was the ranger suits then as I watched the shoe I began to enjoy some of the concepts to it so I bought the first mecha to check it out then it slowly began to grow on me even more so yes of course I had to get them all by then lol but I wanted to add that the shuriken that came with it is a special limited edition they are only giving them to some of the first people to buy lion haoh after that they are gone so definitely a keeper for a collector or for a good sale in the future I look forward to more reviews thanks
by the way for those wondering why this mech isn't shishi or lion maru it's cause that name is currently copyrighted by a different tokusatsu series of the same name
... Every time he's said "Shinken-Oh" I immediately had to go "Shurikenjin." Every mech has either the title or name of their sentai. Shuriken Sentai Ninninger - Shurikenjin. Samurai Sentai Shinkenger - Shinken-Oh Etc. ... Balt, are you okay? Tired? Exhausted? Need a vacation?
It's confusing when two series features similar elements, but I'm already off my nut, so it's not helping you keep using Shinkenger (I, actually, had to retype from "Shurikenger") and related terms. While I'm on my rant, it's *Akaninger Chouzetsu*. It's confusing for everyone, but I felt I needed to point that out. The story was the spirit of this massive tank wasn't too happy to be just used as a tool, only coming out to be used as such. Akaninger eventually gained an ally in Shishi-Oh (the spirit of Lion Ha-Ohjo) when he voiced his belief that with everyone's strength united, they could run wild and still operate effectively. The nature of the unique transformation device, is that it houses Shishi-Oh and can empower anyone he deems worthy (or just anyone he finds interesting).
I wasn't a fan of the whole small robot piloting the giant robot, but I like what they did with this combination. I like it, a small robot riding a big robot riding an even bigger robot. Main thing I don't like is how the other mech is just hanging off on the butt.
I think Lion Haoh counts as more of a brick then TeiOh, it opens up for the other trains to connect. And how is the arms moving more articulation then TaiOh? It's arms movies too.
I would be nice to make a comparison of all the carrier Mechas So far I think it looks that bad in comparison with the one of Shinkenger that barely could roll
Okay, not complaining here, but why do you confuse *ShurikenJin* with *ShinkenOh* of all things? They're both two different mech from two different Sentai seasons! It's not that hard to remember which is which. JS
insha-allah when Bandai do this they don't muck it up completely I mean they must have figured out the more work they put into the toys the more they get back or something
I really hate the Ninninger line. I hate the looks, I hate the combinations, everything. And if I wasn't a completist I would skip this but of course I will get it someday. I really don't like the direction Bandai has been going lately. They rely to heavily on part-forming, loose pieces, and "just stick it somewhere" syndrome. I would like to see more creative transformations with the five piece set, a transformation combination with the sixth ranger mech that does NOT involve part-forming, and a base mech that actually can contain all the mechs untransformed and can actually transform itself instead of just standing it in an upright position. I want a good looking toy line, not some bull crap that is so ridiculous that it is off putting.
Jason T Scott-West I wanna see stuff like past mecha like Gaoranger and Abaranger or even stuff like go onger and shinkenger! I wanna see a mech that doesn't rely on the transformation gimmick, the only reason it worked for Kyoryuger is cause it was a battery that powered the dinos, other than that both toqger and Ninninger were flops in my book....
It's the opposite for me. I love everything that comes out of Ninninger. Personally I don't understand why people hate partsforming, though. We all have our own opinions.
Star Productions I don't hate partsforming unless the said parts are tossed aside and not used at all, this is why stuff like say the final mech from gokaiger turn me off cause it throws most of the sixth rangers zord out to the curb.
By the way, there's a way to fix the Bison King backpack. It involves taking the whole thing on the back apart and rearranging stuff.
