Stupid question. I have a KORG minilogue coming. I am getting into synths. The minilogue has a 16 step sequencer. Is it possible for sequence the bass line into a saw from a minilogue with a 16 step sequencer? Another stupid question. If it can’t, is it possible to sequence the melody bass into a daw, then record the chorus bass line each separately and merge them in a single sequenced bass line in a daw? Thank you
Hi Tom. Your question makes good sense. Talking in general, you can use your DAW as master MIDI clock device, so your Minilogue will be in sync with the DAW tempo. Create one pattern on the Mini and then record it into the DAW. If you want to create a bassline for a song, I would draw it on a DAW MIDI track (or playing keys on the synth itself while recording on that track), so you will be able to play it back triggering the synth and recording it as audio on your DAW. Regarding your second question: yes! :)
@ranguita It is very flexible synth. Its VA engine allows you to emulate all those famous 80's Roland sounds. The sound used here is made with a waveform roland calls Supersaw. JP controls are very intuitive and easy to use.

I feel the part of bass must be more deep (the part where you play since :40 sec), i feel some hurry when play it... I think take more time and apply more deep... the song is great so try to do best!

JP-8000 for main riff + chords JP-8000 for filter sounds + the emax for sampling does sounds for easy sequencing JX-8P for main or background chords/notes Poly 800 might have something thats work for this song DX7II for quirky background sounds Drums - sampled live drums or drumcomputer Daniel Fletcher of D a z z - S y n t h Producer/musician myspace/dazzsynth
They both sounds amazing, Emax I (Analog filters, more crunchy) and II (digital filter). Though it is digitally filtered, it still retains something that makes it sounding so different to other samplers.
