You would not believe how many times I’ve had the Rugged in my cart but I really don’t care for Spectrum products but I do have stock Spectrum electronics with radios. I had a Flysky5 that I had purchased but only had one crawler on it finally al ost a year ago I started moving over other RC’s to it all crawlers I don’t know if it’s a good basher Radio I only use mine on Crawlers but I have seen some videos with people using them with bashers.
Why would they not put a knob on the rear like they did on the pro to control rear steer? That is a big miss on this one. Just went to charge my Li-Ion battery on my Pro and went to plug it in and smoked the board. Now I have a dead DX5-Pro
The thumb lever sucks. The steering wheel sucks. But it can be replaced. The scrolling system to navigate the menu sucks. I actually don’t need 6 channels right now. Spektrum mentions MOA. The manual and the menu don’t even show any type of throttle mixing. I have a DX5 Pro that controls my MOA that I want this to replace. That sucks. Other than that I like it. Especially when it replaces all those DX3 transmitters. But this sob needs to replace my DX5 Pro. What’s going on Spektrum? It’s as if you’re lying to me…
I cant argue with that at all, FlySky has gotten to the point where the availability can be hit or miss, and for me I'd have to replace more than a few receivers. But I definitely want to try them out, when my wallet will allow it
@brokennibrc1045 the gt3c is under 50 bucks. Great transmitter. If you want a step up the gt5 is second to none dollar for dollar. They can be had for under 70 bucks too! Even the new 7 channel flysky is cheap! Now the noble is expensive but well worth it imo
So your conclusion is besides the terrible lanyard, that it works and you like it and you're going to continue to use it.. I'm going to buy one especially for the USB capability, that function is not listed anywhere else I've seen and I would buy the radio for that alone.
It’s a bad radio marketed by a worse company. Poor quality in exchange for accessibility at hobbytown, somewhat useable with some rtr’s. It is what it is. It’s a bummer the Sanwa mt5 can’t be in its place more often.
there are four 6 channel dsmr receivers in Spektrum's catalog. sr6100at, sr6110at, sr6200at, and the sr6300pm. Spektrum/HH marketing department needs to be fired. there is no reason why this radio should be sold with a 5 channel receiver... although the dx6c combo is even worse. it is sold with a 3 channel receiver.
Wow, I'll look this up, but are those surface receivers? And I think your right, the Marketing on these radios are ridiculous. Especially after HH swallowed them up (Along with Axial and everybody else) Whoops, just checked it out, they are surface, at least the SR6110AT, for 100 bucks... sheesh
I don’t think you have a “lousy opinion” as the title is written at the time of viewing. The video is an interesting comparison between the legacy versions.
Thanks... Honestly I don't believe that I myself have a "lousy Opinion" I just want to relate my own experience with the product, and let people make up they're own mind, for what works for them. (and not take it to seriously)
Man I have the DX5 rugged and impulsively bought The dx6 rugged .... Wish I just went with the DX5 pro, but now I'm thinking maybe a new pro model is due to come out sooner than later since it's been 3 years..thoughts?
Very likely we might see a new DX6 Pro radio in a month or so, or possibly a DX6c, which could be a cheaper alternative. Although I haven't seen any 6 channel receivers yet, so I wouldn't hold my breath
@@brokennibrc1045 hoping for a new pro, I'm scared to buy the 5 pro and soon after the 6 will come out 😂. I maxed out at 20 models on the rugged that's why I bought the new one , really wish they could have added more than 20 on the 6 rugged
