Thanks! The concept of a triple is like "balance" with riding a bicycle. There's a moment where you get it. Make sure you take a look this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RLH-PcGqLA0.html Many Sudoku concepts are actually tricky to explain. I am very close to finish my first Sudoku book. I just spent a week refining the explanation of the X-Wing. I was working very closely with someone who had never seen much Sudoku. After years of doing Sudoku it's easy to lose sight of what is difficult for other people who are just starting out. It took a long time but I have so many new insights on how to teach the X-Wing I may have to do a new video. My triple explanation went over pretty well since I've done so many videos on triples. Anyway, I'm glad you are getting good benefits out of watching my videos!
"Naked" Triple at 7:01 1. Examine this column. 2. These three squares can only contain 4, 5, and 6. Therefore, no other square in this column can contain 4, 5, and 6.
You are correct. The purpose for column example was to show triples can occur in rows, columns, and blocks. Here's another video I did detailing what makes a triple a triple you might like: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RLH-PcGqLA0.html I had problems with my mic in my early videos. My newer videos sound much better with my new microphone. Well, as much as my voice will allow it.
Just working on a Kappa 4 star puzzle while letting your video run in the background. I am really good at naked doubles and triples. I know you prefer computer Sudoku but do you ever do paper/pen ones? If so, which is your favorite?
