In June of 2024, we ran the 103 kilometer Dolomiti Extreme Trail (DXT). DXT103 is a race following a loop around the Val di Zoldo in the Italian Dolomites.
The course is known for being particularly challenging and technical. This was certainly true of the first 50KM with steep climbs and descents on periodically rocky terrain along narrow paths.
The back half was significantly less technical, however Cass encountered some issues with her leg. We kept the pace more measured during the last 50KM to ensure that we could finish the race.
