It's amazing to watch DYC grow to the point of developing their own sprayer! Oh, how great it is to see you guys succeed. Yet customer service is still fast and quite personal.
Very impressive, DYC has come a very long way and it looks like a great system. I'd really like to see DYC in the UK so I can get one of these and the rubber dip S to go with it.
Man i've been subscribed to you guys for a really long time now and its been awesome seeing DYC as a company evolve over time and constantly add new things to the dipping industry. Congrats you guys, i'll be ordering one soon!
I just finished doing 5 coats on my motorcycle with the aerosol cans. My hand is killing me from holding the nozzle down 😅 Think I might invest in the sprayer if I have to do this again!
You're like the Billy Mays of plastidip. You go over every detail and answer every question I would want to ask, making me really want to buy the products. The parts kit is awesome because most of us would go buy a new sprayer before we try to fix it. Keep up the good work at your company. When will you guys design your own labels for the aerosol cans? That is my only gripe, they are all the same boring label which makes it hard to tell the difference between black and Anthracite and such.
The needle removal tool is also made to pull off the brass tip, just flip that bad boy around an it gently grabs the edges. No need to dig your finger nails under it.
Ok i looked through the comments nobody else asked, my question is How long will it last? How many cars and or truck can i do with this unit before it burns up? can i do 3 cars a day with it for a week straight? thats what i want to know.. thanks
Hey, it is not clear how often you clean the gun in a job? I did a job today on a bmw 335i e92 and in tlenty layer I hade to clean it several times for it to work well. The result was wonderful anyway and it was my first time I dip and I did it for a customer. The customer was really happy with the result and so was I. this is abolutllly a Great kitt.

Scratch that last post about not being able to get the needle out. After loosening the tip with the tool you might need get something to grip it to pull it out. I was just babying it because it was new. Lol
Maybe a version 2 of this system will have markings on the spin wheel and a stationary arrow on the handle pointing towards the spin wheel. System looks good. Haven't checked lately, are gallon sized available for CA? Great video, nicely done, nothing left unanswered.
..don't you offer filtration cups to filter the paint when poring it out of the can into the 30oz cup, that would be something nice to consider for the product. Don't you think?
This looks good, but I cannot find any CFM rating of the turbine. One of my friend mentioned that old 3500 is actually better, but I couldn't find exact info to counter his opinion. Yep, you mentioned CFM is "also increased" but can I ask the actual value of CFM of this and 3500?
Opps, my fault. Checked the website and read the terms and condition page about CA. I personally haven't read the regulation, but as the website says, 1 gallon can't be purchased or sold in CA. What about a about like 99, 98, or even 95 percent of a gallon. Technically wouldn't be 1 gallon.
You best bet at this point would be to use the black 'Dip as a base, followed by using a mix of matte clear & gloss; mixed with a pigment. Perhaps if your a "good sprayer", your top coat can be gloss with the pigment. Wait till the "Super Gloss" comes out.
Theycallme OJ Can you explain this a little more? My main question is how closely how Dip Black can look to Factory w/clear? Also, what is "Super Gloss" (I know what regular glossifier is) But how much of a difference is this?
Looks like a great project spray gun system ... I would buy the system to spray my old RV but the products are outlawed in Calif. Can I use this system for paint from house of kolor??????please reply!
Good informative video I have 890 Wagner hopefully I'll be OK using it for your product but I do like the swivel hose at gun and to be able to change needle for your product but I use my Wagner for there for other things. Do you have two needles one for colour product one for clear ?.
Can this system be used with regular paint? Just wondering if it can be used for dual use. I know this probably sounds dumb, though I would just like my doubts to be set aside. I don't see why not, other than maybe the nozzle or the PSI.
I had an issue with the hose blowing off the turbine side, after using the system only 3 times. Happened twice while dipping rockers on a 14 Tundra. We ended up wrapping electrical tape around the hose to hold it in

big question here, lets say I put down 4 layers of black pds and now want to apply my high gloss/pearl coats. How many cleaning steps do I have to take and how about the paint drum. to get the excess black out so I am not spraying black mixed into my pearl coat.
I know I'm asking a redundant question, but I haven't seen an answer yet. Can I use this sprayer for paints that aren't plasti-dip related? is there a guide online what I can and can't use? please someone help. If I needed a different needle, can I just as easily exchange a different size or is this particular sprayer internally engineered to outfit the diptip only?
What I'm having trouble is where to find plastic dip in buckets other then the spraycan so I can use it in a spray gun I really want to plastic dip my car after seeing a lot of your videos
How long does the whole process take from start to finish? And how long will it take for the plasti dip to fully cure so that I know the dip won't be peeling off as I I'm driving down the road?
I don't know why I didn't think of this but I was allowing 15 minutes from finishing one coat to starting the next. I never considered that it was taking me a significant amount of time to coat my ES300 and then adding 15 more minutes had me waiting way longer than 20 minutes from starting point to starting point. If I am dipping a motorcycle tank I might have a longish break but if I were dipping a bug SUV I might never really have a break. Is this correct?
Can I use this sprayer with regular color and lacquer for Wall Painting too? Just bought an Wagner W 670 but I am about to send it back if the DYC Sprayer can handle lacqer too. Please answer me somebody asap, so I know if I can send back my Wagner or not
i have a bunch of HVLP guns in my garage that i use with conventional car paint i also have a 3 or 4 wagners for home paint and also i have some undercoating guns that i usually use with any bed-liner. can i use any of them with plastidip and still get the same results you have with the gun you are using? what is the necessary pressure and nozzle tip size? i wanna dip my f150 and i was hoping to use what i already have instead of buying a gun only for that. thanks

Question. Has anyone thought to have a "pick up tube" made from a flexible tubing so that any angle you hold the gun the tube will naturally fall in the direction. Think of a plumb bob. Since the tube is removable it may be easy to come up with an after market replacement.

If I want to paint very fine lineweights, along the lines of a spiderweb,, is there something to consider in particular if I am using an airbrush. Do you have any recommendations on a specific brush system ?
