Hey I thought I'd clarify the instructions... You mix for the first 15 minutes of dyeing, then you mix regularly for the next 45 minutes... Meaning in those 45 minutes you give it a quick mix around a few times, so every 5-10 minutes you'd mix it. Then after the 45 minutes its done. As you didn't mix it for 45 minutes after the first 15 minutes that's why your jersey tshirts were a little patchy. Great dye on the jumper though!
Super helpful! I got a wool jumper as a present, but the colours dont suit me at all...planning to dye it a nice dark green after watching this video :)
The 100% wool jumper came out well. I agree with the comment about stirring. Just stir regularly or often but not all the time, over the 45mins. I wear gloves but use an old wooden spoon so you dont have gloves dripping dye everywhere or have to keep taking them on or off; except when you have to rinse out the clothes at the end. Did the jumper shrink or change shape at all?
Thank you for your message. Not noticeable much. When I wear , I'd say I can feel slightly tighter. Original jumper was bit wide design , too. I hope it helps you
@@mylittlelife7431 thank you so much for your reply ❤ i gave a black tailored coat in to dry clean,and it came back faded with hints of green :( label says its cotton,lining is acetate. Not found a smart replacement coat that im happy with. I may dye the belt and see if theres any changes to play it safe. Have a great day
Yes, I recommend test and also honestly really depends on material and condition. I found even machine dye (cannot use for wool anyway) is not 100% predictable. Wool texture may also change, mine feel like got a little harder. I use Dylon for more renewing old clothes. Good luck with you!!
Yes, machine dye is in pot and hand dye is in small packet . But both are from brand call Dyelon. For mashing machine one, you can just google “Dylon Machine dye” and hand dye “ Dylon hand dye”

According to Dylon UK website, it says Yes, it is possible to use DYLON fabric dye in a european top loader. Ref: www.dylon.co.uk/en/home/all-about-dylon/faq.html But some blog says may have more or less water and out come could be different. I personally find anyway out come is very different according to fabric, condition and original colour. So you may not try for your most important clothes . I hope this helps
