Yesterday I was randomly scrolling on RU-vid and i came accross this testimony of this woman who was given 10 months to live. Then her friend introduced her to the Rosary and she prayed it daily. Then somehow her cancer disappeared (link below). The most moving inspiring thing about it is how she said - ‘prayer is a practice’. And that when all is said and done, we will be left with only our practices. I felt like this was a direct message from God to me because my prayer life has been a bit out of whack lately. I usually just say a quick prayer when I wake up, and maybe one during the day and then maybe one before I sleep. And that’s on at all. I need to pray deeply and connect with God, at least for 15 minutes in a day. I used to say the Rosary daily and pray so much but life has just sort of drowned out reflection and prayer time. Truly I don’t think it’s about quantity but the quality of the prayer. Being still and knowing He is God. 🙏
