Nice. I think I put a little too much brown dye in that batch. I've dyed a few pouches since this video, and they came out much better (not as dark). The more you do it, the more you kinda dial it in-it's becoming an unexpected fun hobby of mine haha.
You can dye them green (forest green/apple green are good choices) but the ACU does have shades of camoflage in it, so it's not really going to be a solid color, hope that helped!
@@ExtremelyAverageManThere are greens Ive researched on the Pantone scale which ive never seen on Camo that I think far exceed apple green; one is called Navy Green, the other is Sap green, and on those websites you can see the variants of those and its like 100% matching your typical grass green or leaves on the trees, well, at least in New York anyway, you know ...we're not talking amazon rainforest or vietnam rice paddies here!😂😂😂
It shouldn't as long as you rinse the fabric under cold water immediately after dyeing (until the fabric runs clear). I'd recommend tossing your newly dyed fabric (with no other clothes) into the washer for a cycle, just to be safe. I think Rit Dye has a "Fixative" product if all else fails.
