I've been dyeing my eyebrows since I was 14, I'm 51 now! I have the thickest eyebrows in the world! I also use Revlon. Use a Q-Tip! You really have to be an idiot to blind yourself! Also I use to bleach my eyebrows too! Mine never singed off! 37 yrs. girls!
I dyed my hair an ash blonde and my black eyebrows contrast greatly and so I want to bleach them to make them lighter but should I use a permanent hair dye to bleach them, I used it for my hair
Mel Francois great question! Permanent hair dye is definitely risky to be used near your eyes, so it’s definitely not the best option. Actual eyebrow tints or dye for facial hair are both safer options especially if you don’t have experience with permanent dye! I just prefer box dye because I get a large amount dye for a very low price and I had previous experience with eyebrow tinting before I tried this method.
How long does it last before starting to fade? Because if this can last for at last 4 weeks its a real deal and could saves many lives the dilemmas doing eyebrows every fucking morning
I've been doing this for a long time and haven't experienced that. I only leave it on for a short period of time though and not the recommended time for dying hair!
Usually 5 minutes if the dye is darker than the color I want but if I use a dye that is the same color I want I leave it on for 10-15 minutes. I usually wipe it off with a paper towel to check the color and add more if it’s not dark enough since there’s always left over
It will leave a faint stain for about a day so I try as hard as possible to only put it on my eyebrow area. But if you accidentally get it somewhere else on your face, you can wipe it off right away and it won’t be stained!
Hailey Byers the longer you leave it on the darker it gets so I would try leaving it on a bit longer. And make sure you add enough color when you mix it with the developer!
@@avielle I put mine on for 20 minutes and it's still light but it's dark enough. I have red hair and i did brown eyebrows bc that's my sisters natural color. She also has red hair
Naima Thayna dos Santos Mendes all I used in the video was the hair dye. I mixed the developer with the color and that was it. Before I used hair dye I used an actual eyebrow tint kit, but I do this now because itis a cheaper option that has more uses!
Dear, thanx for this video. I didn't even have any idea that it can be possible. Can i get eyebrow fallout?? can skin be irritated after dying eyebrow? I want your honest opinion pls.
I haven’t experienced any eye brow fallout and I’ve been doing this for years. I suppose this could cause skin irritation if you have sensitive skin but I haven’t experienced that either!
I have't experienced that, but I don't leave the dye on my eyebrows for a long time compared to using it for a hair treatment. If you leave the dye on for a long time it can cause your eyebrow hairs to fall out but I never leave it on for longer than a couple minutes so I haven't experienced any issues with eyebrow hair loss!
I’ve noticed depending on how often you wash your face and what you use to wash with can make it fade faster :/ also using hot water makes it fade faster
