I can't believe how beautiful her curl pattern is!!! And they did a fucking phenomenal job preserving her hair and achieving that brilliant cool gold tone. Her reaction was also priceless and the fact that she loves it so much really makes it.

Also, being quite experienced with bleach myself, I’m honestly very impressed at how well the stylist was able to bleach her client’s hair without stripping away all those adorable curls ♥️♥️ She looks SO good and you can just tell something inside her really came alive the moment she stepped into this new color.
So this is a reaction of someone who loves their hair. And a curly cut that wasn’t finished off by taking damaged pieces and curling them with an iron? Is this the first hair me out that’s actually what is says it is and no one is faking? Incredible

I will say tho all that brushing would not have worked with my texture of hair. I wonder if she can adapt a different method for hair that's a little more coiled

I am genuinely shocked by how amazing this blonde looks! Blonde can be tricky, especially on women of color, but the hairstylist obviously understood the assignment! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
It's nice to see a lighter skinned woman able to work on curly and afro textured hair!! So many people treat curly hair like its a subset of hair styling when it's in fact just hair! It's weird to me that people specialize in hair, but that can't actually work with all hair textures. I can understand not being as good at braiding or coloring, but texture? C'mon everyone has texture! edit : by lighter skinned i mean fairer skinned, not light skinned black. that seems to be the only reply on this for some reason. i didn’t wanna assume her race / heritage so I said lighter skinned to imply a lighter skin tone. that’s all.
It’s because in cosmetology school they don’t teach you anything about curly hair except how to relax it. I have curly hair myself and learned absolutely nothing about how to take care of it. I’ve done all that research on my own

It's hard for me to trust hairstylists with curly hair some don't know what they are doing or don't know how to achieve the color blonde the first go round. BRAVO!

Wow!! Every time a black girl goes blonde, it doesn't mean she hates herself or wants to be white. We just like to try new things and play around with our hair and our look bcuz were women and thats what women do. She clearly loves herself and the blonde looks AMAZING on her.

I feel like under light, especially under natural light, it really complements her complexion so much. It’s a little bit unflattering under dim lights. Overall it’s an impressive make over.
