Dying my hair black this weekend and I was literally thinking about you wondering if you were going to dye your hair back to black. It looks so healthy , I think black always makes your hair look more healthy.
AtlantisKendra it really does. I dyed my hair red twice and straightened it a lot to slick it properly. It became so damaged so then I dyed it black and it looked much healthier it was crazy.
There’s a holy GOD in Heaven, Who created you and I for His glory, but our sins have separated us from Him. the wages of sin is DEATH, but the FREE Gift of GOD is eternal life in CHRIST the LORD. in love, CHRIST died for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. repent, stop living in sin, and believe in the Gospel.
Literally.... ABSOLUTELY LITERALLY every curly girl who dies their hair lighter ALWAYS go back to dark. It’s just a phase ladies. Ride the wave and than let it go.

I forget what other RU-vidr was talking about this , think it was onlyonejess , but it’s seems like very few 3s and 4s hair types can take going lighter with their hair... the bleach ends up eventually damaging it . They all dye and like clock work, you notice as time goes on their curls change , they hair starts getting shorter and looser , and then a year hits and they end having to cut and go back dark.
Didn’t happen to me. I actually wanted my curls a little looser so I did a Botox treatment..proper care and low manipulation will usually help you maintain your hair
truee!! I am type 4 and went blond in the same time a lot of my faves did the creme of nature campaign, I had to cut all the bleached hair because I couldn't handle the damage
My younger sister’s hair has been bleached since she was 14y/o. She is now 20y/o. Her hair is 4b/4c and her curl pattern has not changed at all. We leave the bleaching to professionals, but I dye her hair with with Adore dyes every couple of months or whenever she feels like changing the color. My sisters hair was around shoulder length when she first bleached it. Her hair is now mid back length and thick af. Bleach doesn’t damage your hair if it’s done properly.
I love the black on you. The color job you had was excellent it’s hard to get a light color and it to look natural and yours def looked natural. But I think ppl look best with their natural hair color
everyone who once had 'black hair' and then dyed it to a different color and then back to black is always surprised at how dark it is because nobodys natural hair is actually black. its a really dark brown
black women, yes we (majority of us at least) don’t have jet black hair. But that colour is acc natural and common for south/East Asians so I wouldn’t say nobody lol
I went blonde brown last year which was a huuuuuge change for me because I’ve always colored my hair jet black! I was so happy to cross back over to the dark side again lol! Needless to say you look beautiful either way! I agree the lighter color does require a lot of maintenance as to opposed to dark hair. I regretted it 100% waste of $600 for me!
This is why I never want to dye my hair. Peoples dyed hair, especially the ends, always look so dry and split and the curl pattern always looks off and it never shrinks like healthy hair shrinks. Dark hair always looks so healthy and skinny. The lighter look and experimenting with colors is cute and fun but I would use hair paint/makeup over dye ANY DAY.
yes do another video on how you liked it, I need to know 😩 I’ve been wanting to dye my hair but scared I’m going to lose my curls... I loved this color on you by the way, it looked so good 💕
i have very fine curly hair so when i had it dyed blond, it made it look so much thicker and voluminous. my hair has been back to brown for almost a year now and im missing the blond
Your hair always looks good no matter the color or style. I just colored my hair jet black last Friday with a semi permanent dye, but I want try the ion one since your results were so good.
So maybe a tip for anyone wanting to go light for only a short while? temporary hair dye...thanks for this Jazz! Black is better & healthier for your hair😌
I remember when u first dyed It I was like nooooo Jasmines looks mad different but then I fell in love with it and now I’m having the same feelings but in the end ima fall in love with it again! Every color fits you NO DOUBT!
I want to dye my hair but I’m in love with my dark black hair! Black curly hair is just so beautiful! I was thinking burgundy but I have no idea what to do!!!
love your vids every time, from a licensed hairdresser point of view if you wanted to go back to black, I wouldn't recommend semi permanent unless you want to go back to the highlights that u had previously. I would suggest for you a demi permanent haircolor because it is not as stripping as a permanent color and gets lighter over time. Also I wouldn't wash my hair before doing a color treatment even if its a semi permanent color because when you shampoo your hair you are stripping all the oils in your hair, those oils protect your hair from and color service even if the color has "moisturizing" properties. A brand I would recommend is the ION which you used in your videos and for demi permanent color, you use 10 volume developer. Please don't come for me anyone, its a lot of science behind what I said but I am confident that I am right, I color hair a lot since beauty school and have seen what does work and what doesn't work for people.
She washed the hair because people with natural hair use products that coat the hair. And may cause a film of product buildup, which could interfere with the coloring. But it would probably be better to do it a few days before.
I just watched second part of this transformation - the cut. It's such a change. It's biiiigggg diference between before and after. You realy look best in Your natural hair. The cut and the color now are great. (If I didn't see here Your hair before, I wouldn't believe it's the same hair. My hair is just wavy and sometimes it can look almost straihgt - my curls are from 2b to 3b. But how Can Your extremly curly hair be so straight - I can't imagine.)
I enjoy your channel, and you have a great personality. I will admit your hair is not the same as it used to be, it used to be way healthier, but it’s okay eventually after a year or so it’ll be back
Omg I colored my hair with that same exact product two weeks ago in the same color and it came out sooooo nice. Although I wish this video came out before I did it because it was stressful not knowing how it’d come out.😂♥️
EVERY summer I want to go light but I just know my curls would probably get ruined and then I wouldn't do all the upkeeping so I just keep doing a black. It looks soooooo good!!!!
I love all your videos and I love this natural color on you, but no tea no shade, dyeing hair with permanent color is damaging, sooo technically when you were complaining about the blonde being dry and damaged, you only made it even more damaged by coloring it, but now it's damaged AND dark lmao. But hey, darker hair appears healthier and shinier anyways, and you obviously love the color, so call it a win-win. You rock it. P.S. because I KNOW some people are gonna try and go off on me in the replies: I'm a licensed cosmetologist, so I know what I'm talking about. And her hair was never very damaged in the first place, it's not like she went platinum. All things considered her hair is still healthy, bouncy, strong etc.
I don't think someone is gonna come at you . You are right , i think if she would let the color grow out i'd be better cuz dying your hair is xtra dryness
Typically going darker is much less damaging especially if done properly. So I doubt it’s going to affect her hair like going lighter would. And going darker also tends to make it look healthier like you mentioned. So even if it remains damaged atleast it will look healthier than before. I’ve never really seen any natural who got damaged hair because they went darker.
