I think for experimenting, you were smart to chose revlon. Don’t let the price tag fool y’all. Out of all the drugstore box dyes, Revlon is the only 1 I’ve seen that are truly ammonia free! Others may mark that it is, but if you scan the ingredients, there are in fact ammoniums that are damaging.
@@dragonbutler8325 use a plastic bag or shower cap to encapsulate the heat rather than a blow dryer to prevent damage especially if you’re using bleach
@@dragonbutler8325 you can use a blow dryer but don't let the heat be too high and keep moving the dryer so that the heat don't concentrate on one point
I've dyed my hair with box dye twice. 1st time I dyed it pink, turned out great but it lasted one week when it was supposed to last 2-3 months.. 2nd time I dyed it red, and it turned out amazing, it was supposed to last 2-3 months aswell but instead it stained my hair 6 months ago and to this day I still have it. Obviously not that pigmented its subtle, but I'm happy it lasted long. Now if im going to be allowed because my mum is very sceptical about me dying my hair blonde then I'll go for it... I'm super scared because I want it to last long, because I want it for christmas and a bit more to have fun with it and I'm scared that it wont show up. My hair isnt that light, it's a notch lighter than the girl in the video though...
Omg it's so beautiful!!! You're too judgmental on it I think it looks amazing!!! And you're cute too!! Plus I know that dye is cheap in price that brand is the only one that doesn't make my hair feel like broken straw. Love that dye
When first time i dyed my hair i also got a spot like so but i just covered it with other hair by styling 😅 so i recommend everyone to not let the dye clump ....its better if you comb the sections of hair during dying process

TIP for long hair her length buy 2 boxes waist length hair buy 3 and wear a shower cap the heat from your head makes it lighten more. the color is really pretty I just turned mine copper with this technique

They sell revlon at dollarama. I usually use those to dye my hair back to dark brown haha. The reason your hair turned to a red light brown. is cuz u used a more golden tone blonde. I would go for a medium ashe blonde, if u want a natural/more golden brown. As asian hair pulls out a lot of reds. Thats why u never go natural/golden blonde. dark ashe blonde>medium ashe blonde depending if u want medium or light brown
U mean if i want a brownish red tone its better to use gloden tone blonde on my black hair? I really want more brown less red colour without bleaching Can u help me?

Sadly, this product costs around $6-$8 in my country. That's why I would rather buy salon products than buying several box of box dye since I have a really long hair.

I use the same brand but I use #81. Not sure why you decided not to color your roots. If you wish to fix it just buy another box of Revlon color silk Ultra light Ash blonde #05 , color again all over, You will like it. You must use an "Ash" blonde to get the look you want. #05 Ultra light ash blonde. Heck I've colored my hair with "Color Easy" lightest blonde from the dollar tree and it came out beautiful , I would not reccomend "Color Easy", for you because it is not an "Ash" blonde.
Someone told me the lights blonde will help lift the black ( virgin or dyed hair).. They told me to use Revlon or loreal feria because they were more powerful .if you use 3 or 4 boxes. Someone please help me.
zoeunlimited ok so i waited 30 mins.. just rinsed and blow dried and u can tell its brown but i feel like next time i should use 2 boxes. Ur hair is longer tho, u used 1 box right, and how long did u wait after applying? Urs came out more vibrant than mine which idk how that happened lol cuz i waited longer
I think I waited about 30 minutes too to see if my hair would get any lighter! The lightning in my bathroom is pretty bright so my hair is pretty brown but might appear even lighter in some angles!

Just spritz in some hydrogen peroxide that should be in your medicine cabinet. Note: if you have none what-so-ever of the hydrogen peroxide (which is literally what is the active ingredient in hair dyes and developers).
