Wow it looks so good with that hairstyle. Its a good thing you chose a purple based blue dye because if you had chosen green it would’ve just become dark brown
oh wow didn't even think about that! i recently did dye it green and you're right, on top of the previous color (manic panic vampire red) it just barely showed up and washed out to complete brown in 2-3 washes!! oops!!
It faded out quickly but not green or grey thankfully! The blue dye temporarily stained my hands and thus my keyboard and pillow etc until after the first shampoo, so be careful, it's strong!!
yep, it washed out really quickly! but you never know with these semi-permanent ones... i've been using for years and they've all washed out within a couple of months. BUT... i got my hair professionally highlighted 2 years ago. i hadn't used teal dye in about 6 months. and after the bleach started processing, the hair was coming out green! from the teal semi-permanent from 6 months ago!! you couldn't see it on the brown hair but upon using bleach it popped out. nothing a little toner didn't correct. but just a heads up, it may not come out 100%, probably nothing the naked eye would pick up, and nothing that a new color won't color over either.
Did you have some red that didn't fade out completely? That happened to me with teal. It was 6 month old semi perm, I thought was completely washed out but I got highlight and they were green 😅😅😅😅😅😅
I've used this particular color, Shocking Blue, and in my experience the worst thing that could happen if you're overdying pink hair is that you'll end up with purple instead of blue. YMMV
